So I have had a few vegan disappointments in the last few weeks but ?Vegan Delights?won?t let you down... it?s a small booth in... the Hollywood farmers market,but don?t let that turn you away. The Buffalo ckikn empanada and the ham and cheese foldover areincredible. Even better news is the company is actually opening a ?store-front? restaurant in Penbroke pines... check outtheir profile for more information.... Freaking AMAZING!!! The buffalo chikn empanada is so good with the best ranch dipping sauce! My husband tried their pastelito... for the first time & said he should've gotten more than one! I cannot wait for your location to open closer to me because thedrive is a bit, BUT ABSOLUTELY WORTH IT!!! omg & the Danish had the most amazing cream that had just the right amount ofsweetness. Such a lovely concept for vegans looking for some yummy pastries ! We tried the ham and cheese foldover, cheese danish,... chocolate croissant and the carne pastelitos! All very delicious and the flavors and textures were perfect! Highly recommend anyone in Miami to make the drive to their booth in the yellow green farmers market ! Plus the prices are great ! These are the best pastries I've ever had ! I tried the ham and cheese foldovers, the carne pastelitos, chocolate croissant, and... the cheese danish. I wish I would've tried one of everything ! They really know how to create the best vegan pastries, flavorand textures were just spot on ! If you're in Miami please check them out, it's a bit of a drive but it's so worth it !Definitely a hidden gem for the vegan community here in Miami ! Read more
WOW! I discovered these sweet treats last week at the yellow green farmers market and let me say... Just delicious! There is not... one thing I purchased from these ladies that I did not like. SOOOOOO GOOD! And the girls who were there (one of them was the chef) were extremely extremely nice and the chef's husband was... super nice as well. The food was fantastic, I wish I had gotten more. Vegan Delights has the best vegan pastries over anywhere else I've tried in South Florida! I think vegans will really appreciate... the wonderful options of pastry delights there. Especially since they're so hard to find. It's so unbelievably close to the realthing, and better tasting! Reminds this Cuban of his pre-Vegan days. My girlfriend and I also had the best customer serviceexperience from the Chef/owner and her sister! Overall amazing people and food! Highly recommend. Read more
I sampled various pastries and vegan delights did not disappoint. Everything was delicious. The cuban beef pastelito was spot... on. The baklava tasted so fresh! I commented to the employee how tasty it was and she told me they even make their spices fromscratch. I'll have to get a bigger order next time to share with my friends and family. Read more
