Went there for a night out with my friend. Ordered some food. The food was good but at the end when I had to pay the card... reading machine had an error. The young lady took my credit card over to the register and when she came back with my receipt shesaid I was all set. Upon reviewing my receipt, there was no signature required and I noticed an additional charge that said?tip?. For one I did not authorize a tip so I asked if gratuity was included. I was advised no. So basically she paid herselfher own tip without my knowledge or authorization. I was going to tip regardless but that?s on mr part. I had to go to themanager (who didn?t speak English) to advise of the situation. They kept trying to give me the run around on why it happened. At the end they refunded me the bill amount without the extra tip and said to just repay the amount. This made no sense becauseI was still charged extra. He ended up giving me the difference in cash. Seems quite shady to me. I couldn?t imagine how manyother people they?ve done this to. Shame! Read more
Horrible customer service to start with my husband called to place an order for the both of us as a late night dinner it?s about... 12am eastern time the only place open that you don?t have to wait in a drive thru line for. Since the restaurant is down thestreet from us and we didn?t want to have to drive there just to place the order and have to wait 30 minutes for it to be readywe decided to call and place the pickup order ahead. Well the receptionist kept hanging up before my husband could tell her theorder than she was rude and kept sending the line to busy finally we ask for a manager and she took the order we got 2 orders ofsteak tacos I got pico de gallo with sour cream and cilantro it come with a side of yellow rice and fried beans I don?trecommend the meat was dried and cold and taste like gringos tacos, Taco Bell would taste better I prefer authentic Mexican foodlike from a taqueria in my opinion the taste just was not there Read more

Excellent burritos. Great atmosphere. However: If you're paying by credit card, WATCH OUT. My actual bill total was $18.14... including tax. After the credit card had been charged and the bill was brought back for me to sign, I went ahead and wrote in atip, then realized what was going to be charged to my account, not including tip, was $40.55 (see attached photos). I nearlyended up paying for another table's order. I wonder how many Takitos customers have ended up unknowingly paying someone else'sbill especially if it's really late at night and they're very far from being sober ???? Moral of the story: make sure you'resober enough to triple check the bill they bring to you to sign to catch any "inconsistencies". Otherwise, good service, goodnachos, and great steak burritos. Had a horrible experience at this restaurant, ordered a quessadilla with no Pico & no guacamole because I'm allergic to them eat... first half it was fine 2nd was full of guacamole didn't notice it till I was more than half way done, & I was already startingto get an upset stomach. I let the waitress know what had happened and her response was I'm sorry that's the chfe fault ???? very disappointing, Definitely will not be back nor will I recommend it Read more
Awesome pregame spot. Happy hour 7 days a week until 7:30pm. Exotic $5 cocktails ????????. Decent food. I love the tiny side of... rice and beans served with the tacos. But definitely, do not go there expecting great cuisine. This spot is only good for thoselooking to pregame or drink alone with a tight budget.
