This is was worst $22 I spent in Chinese food. My chicken and broccoli was dry, the fried rice it came in wasn’t tasty. The... pork steamed dumplings were good. Crab Rangoons were fried so crispy they were chips and barely any filling. Even the fortunecookies were stale. I did love the staff though. What a pleasant surprise! The Kung Pao Chicken and Bourbon Chicken were both delicious. Generous portions, definitely made... fresh, the containers were packed with rice and chicken. Our meal orders came with spring rolls. When the delivery personarrived at our hotel, he called to see if we wanted to come down to the front desk or have him come up. Definitely a consideratetouch, if I was traveling alone, I'd appreciate meeting a delivery person at the front desk and not at my hotel room door. Read more
Hunan Wok is located in the Park Sheridan plaza and because of the pandemic is only allowing takeout and delivery. They have the... menu posted on the window so you have an idea what you want before going in, and masks are required. A variety of dishes under$20 (excluding the party tray dishes) such as: * Appetizers/soups/sides * Fried rice/pad thai/vegetarian * Chef's specialty/eggfoo young * Chicken, beef, shrimp dishes * Lunch & dinner combo platters I placed my order of steamed dumplings and a shrimproll. Wait time was 10 minutes. There was only one female behind the counter and she was holding down the fort in Jet Lispeed...I mean girl was fast...she was taking orders off the phone, taking care of the customers who came in to place theirorders, packed the orders, and handed them out. I was impressed. Once I got settled at home, I reached for the shrimp rollwhich was made and fried perfectly. Hot and crunchy on the outside, tender shrimp and veggies on the inside. Next was thedumplings and OMG they were so delicious with a tasty dipping sauce. Food was good. My second time there. I had the pepper steak with fried rice extra bean sprouts and onions with a spring roll oh... and egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was thick tho. My buddy had the beef and broccoli with extra beef and chicken wings.(Pictured). He paid $1.00 for extra beef tho. Probably would have gave five stars but the order taker today was not personableat all. If she's working if I go there again... I probably won't eat there. Something about her vibe.. Read more
Got to have the pork dumplings here. Being Hunan Chinese food anything spicy is very good here too. Friendly service.
