I ordered S.W.W Calzone. What I received did not match the menu description: ?crowned with lots mozzarella cheese?. I did not... get any mozzarella cheese. The menu also states ,?stuffed with ricotta cheese?. I received a tablespoon of ricotta cheese, andstuffed with a bunch of vegetables. The only reason I ordered the calzone is because I like cheese. The flavor of the food wasvery bland- no flavor. I took 3 bites and threw it away - very disappointed. Read more
I've been going to Saras for 30 years. The restaurant looks like a time warp. Clean but dated. The food is modestly priced... there was plenty of it to. It came out hot. I'd say it's about the same as always. Good food and a good value. Read more
Love it. Great place, not only for kosher food, but for vegetarians. So many choices to pick from, Mexican, Cuban, Italian,... European, Mediterranean. If it's to hard to choose from, you will not, be disappointed from just ordering a slice of pizza, it'sgreat!. My kid loves it as well. Read more
Sara's is a family owned, quaint little restaurant that has a few tables outside and many more inside. Their menu is... incredible. They have Mexican, Chinese, Cuban, Vegetarian and Italian dishes that are all Kosher and reasonably priced. Thelady who served us (presumably one of the owners) was friendly and delightful. This place saved the day, when all the usual vegan restaurants were closed for Christmas. They have an extensive vegetarian... menu, most of them vegan or vegan optional. You'll find here an interesting mix of Mediterranean, Mexican, Chinese and othercuisines. Read more
Nice place with great vegetarian and vegan options; we had the falafel along with "chicken" fajitas. The food came very fast and... the waitress was attentive and courteous. Unfortunately my falafel didn't come with as many vegetables as I expected, the saucewas too watery and they didn't add feta cheese to my order. When my bill came, the gratuity was added and I'd been charged $5for the feta cheese I asked for. There was also a "warning" from the waitress not to let the owner see us come in with an applepie seeing as it's not kosher. Wanted several pizzas for a child's birthday party. Spoke to a few people who assured me that they could deliver to ft... lauderdale for a fee. Confirmed several times even the morning of. I reminded them I needed the pizza by 10:45 bc we'd be eatingat 11. At 10:50, I called and was told that they were leaving in 2 min. Shocked, I said you're supposed to be here now and thelady said what can I do? I took a deep breath to not freak out and said ...you're 20 min away and she said i think he can makeit in 15. So I figured we'd eat at 11:20 instead. At 11:15 I got a call from the driver telling me they gave him an address forhollywood. My venue was only mine until 12. I told the driver forget it. The place then called me saying I gave them the wrongaddress. THIS after I gave them the zip code at least 5 times and confirmed the address no less than 3 times. I was prettydevastated.
