After my brother and I came back from our fishing trip, my brother suggested to get lunch to go from this restaurant. I had the... wings and my bro got the fried pork chop. Overall the good was great. The wings, mac and cheese, and the baked beans wasamazing. The pork chop was good as well. However, the corn bread was dry?. We also tried their Flops (lemonade and fruitpunchand lemonade and ice tea)?both drinks quenched our thirst! Recommend this restaurant to anyone. Ain't nothing on the menu nasty we drove all the way from Cutler Bay (Down South) to eat here and it was worth the trip we tried... sundays eatery around the same amount of years as this place and they never lost the goodness in the taste of their foodalthough sundays have good catfish fabulous food is always fresh and well seasoned and the dinners have a decent amount of foodfor the prices No long lines or long wait and AND it's very affordable meals me and my husband went with the meatloaf with aside of mac he had collared greens and I had candy yams listen when I say fi I mean FI I can say the corn bread could be servedhot with honey and butter but other then that it's good yall I had to give it five stars Read more
Absolutely fantastic food! I had the two smothered pork chops, with collard greens and macaroni and cheese. DELICIOUS!! I got a... to-go box for a friend, smothered turkey over white rice with baked beans, macaroni and cheese and potato salad. I couldn't havemade that potato salad any better myself. And the cornbread, oh!! Don't skip dessert, we had red velvet and lemon cake, bothwere fantastic. Everything was delicious, fresh and hot. Every single employee is beyond friendly. We recently moved to the Hollywood area and coming from Georgia we were looking for some Soul Food. This place hit the spot. ... The smothered turkey wings and smothered chops were good.
