Fast service, good portions
I lived in the area for 15 years and when Angelo's opened it was like a gift from the Gods. Everything, and I mean everything... I've eaten there is delicious - and I've eaten just about every item on the menu. My favorite is the pasta fagioli - the bestI've had. Their pizza is about as close to NY style as you can get outside of NY. I moved out of the area about 1 yr ago, but Istill make the trek to Angelos often. The location is easily accessible with plenty of parking. The staff is quite friendly andattentive. This is your quintessential neighborhood Italian eatery, but with highly elevated quality. My mom called me and told me she was craving pizzeria Spaghetti. I was laughing because from my experience, I've never had great... Spaghetti from any pizza joint I've been, but hey, its her craving. We drove around looking for a Pizza place but rememberedthat my sister had mentioned Angelo's pizza as a good place. We decided to go there and we were pleasantly surprised. To beginwith, the service was great. The waitress was super friendly and talked to us on and off during our visit. She was veryattentive and kept our drinks refilled at all times. The food that we ordered came out promptly, and very hot. First forappetizers we had the fried Ravioli which were stuffed with cheese and served with a nice cheesy marinara sauce. My mom orderedspaghetti with meatball, of course. It had a good amount of sauce and one huge meatball. She lived them. This also came with asalad and garlic rolls. I ordered the chicken Parmigiano sandwich which was a good size. This was pretty good but hard tohandle. Ended up eating it with a fork and knife. My wife had the lasagna which she didn't think was the best because it barelyhad meat. I thought it was good. This also came with a salad and garlic rolls. Passing by and decided to stop by for an early dinner. Started off with the garlic rolls...yummy. They are by far one of the... BEST garlic rolls I?ve had. My husband ordered the Eggplant Spinach Rollatini and it was AMAZING!!! Unfortunately, I ordered thePenne Pasta with oil and roasted garlic (not on the menu) it was not what I expected, but, my husband loved it. We ended upexchanging plates and we were both satisfied. We ordered six plain rolls and a Nutella pizza to go. Good Lord that pizza is outof this world. If you are in the are and hungry, stop by this place. The only reason I?m giving them four stars..no canned orbottled soft drinks. Fountain drinks only. Thank you to the fabulous and friendly staff. Read more
Stopped by today for lunch. Great service, food was delicious and awesome cooks. Ordered a Caprese salad, Eggplant parmigiana,... and my guest ordered a Stromboli. Generous portions. Nice family atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Read more

It's just not good, the sauce is really really bad. If I was guessing I would say that the main ingredient is Campbell's tomato... soup. Garlic rolls like chewing up powder, very dry. Read more
