We were staying in Hallandale Beach and craving authentic Italian cuisine. So we took a ride share to downtown Hollywood to... experience Allegria. Caution! When you walk thru the doorway, you will be teleported to Italy. Our waiter, from Italy,brought the authentic Italian restaurant experience to our evening. The salads, entrees, and desserts were fresh and brimmingwith flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant for date night. Worth every penny! Read more

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Please do not go!!!! Avoid this place! There is no way that the good reciews are real reviews.. The... Italian waiter was beyonddddd rude and aggressive! Employee like that shouldn’t work with client services! Literally Ive neverbeen to a restaurant were the waiter was so bad. So this happened: We were literally the only ones there! We said okaaay let’sgive a chance, even though that we thought leaving the place when we saw that we were the only ones. I ordered the star trufflepasta.. it took literally 40 min (again, we were the only clients there) the pasta arrived with NO truffle, I asked the waiterand he said in a very rude tone “it is not truffle season!!! Truffle season is next month” wow!!! He never mentioned thatwhen I ordered but then he said it has truffle oil.... soooo he pretented for me to pay $35 for a cheese pasta.. likewhaaatt!!?? I could pay $35 in a fine dining but not in a mediocre place, with no clients, with wrinkled linens, with a rudewaiter.. (Attached is the picture with cheese and pepper!!!! Black stuff is pepper!!!! Not truffle) I said take out my plate andhe said ok, and took out my plate instead of trying to fix the situation. Also, he charged for the water even though we askedfor tap water..
