Met a friend here for breakfast, and wow, what an incredibly healthful environment! I ordered their Nourishing Latte (turmeric,... nutmeg, cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, date nectar, oatmilk) and Matcha Granola over vanilla chia pudding. Unique, healthy and tasty food options. The Avcado Tartine was delicious as well as Macro Bowl and Tuna Burger. I love Beets,... but their Beets salad a a strong seaweed taste, it was good, but not what I expected. French fíes were good also. Love that they serve Greenwork organic coffee- rainforest & farmworker friendly. My vegan almond pastry and almond milk... cappuccino were delicious! They have a Plastic Container reuse program but it would be better if they used biodegradablecontainers. ????? There?s a Free Parking lot! Read more
TL;DR: Great vegan options, nice and helpful employees, and a really nice aesthetic to the store. All around I would recommend... checking this place out. I came in for a quick drink in the evening and ordered a Nourishing Latte. It definitely tastedunique, unlike any other latte I've ever had which is by no means a bad thing. I actually enjoyed it more than I expected towhen reading it on the menu. Speaking of the menu, it is very unique as far as cafes go. Just about everything on the menu issomething you can't find anywhere else and that alone justifies repeat visits just to try and see how everything is. One otherthing that I didn't see other reviews talk about is the availability of other Japanese products for sale such as tea leaves anddashi packets. So if you're looking to make anything like that at home, or want to buy it as a gift for someone else, this placeis not a bad place to take a look at! Finally, the people running the place are super chill. This restaurant has been around for over 10 years and still offers tasty macrobiotic eats. They have a good amount of outdoor... sitting in front of the restaurant. Parking offered but very small, better to park on street and walk over. Staff friendly, foodis fresh. Looking forward to post covid for the inside communal table. Read more
I had the best experience at M café. Such a cute welcoming restaurant. Very clean enviroment and customer service is amazing!... The patio is super chic! friendly staff and I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, he's super amazing & sweet. He made myfirst visit to M café a vip experience. Thank you for that!! Now... Let's talk about food... yum!!! I'm going to be 100% honestwith all of you. The Food is incredibly amazing! Super healthy clean food. Not only is it healthy... it's super delicious andfresh! Just had lunch and was treated so rudely. They made the bowl wrong three times. I asked for no corn, no soy cream bc of dietary... restrictions. They brought out the bowl with corn and no beans. Did not ask for no beans. Then they re made it again wrong withno beans. Asked for the bowl I ordered and asked with beans- as it states on the menu. They were so rude, told me I asked for nobeans- which I DID NOT. Never took responsibility and had horrible attitude when they were 100 percent responsible for messingup the order. Then I overheard the chef making comments about having to remake the order and seemed annoyed. Then I heard theguy who took my order telling him it wasnt his fault. But the problem was- he did take the order wrong. It was beyond rude forany employee to treat a customer that way. It was horrific that he told me I lied about my order. Also took forever to get twoitems. Horrible customer service and rude. For a place that supposedly caters to dietary restrictions this place had no clue toeven take an order correctly and that?s unfortunate. They need to be more aware of who is working there because I volunteeredduring the pandemic handing out M Cafe food at local hospitals ( with the owner) and he was a lovely person?so it?s unfortunatethat his staff is so rude and unable to take proper orders.
