I really wanted to love this place, but the over all food and pricing was not comparable to other local Italian restaurants. We... got linguine and clams. They do not serve salad. That?s completely unusual for a $40 dish. The bread was great. The dish wasflavored well. Our presentation was not near other pictures posted on here. But the portion and flavor was good. Not much of adrink selection for a large restaurant. No wine recommendations or tasting. The waiter was attentive but non apologetic aboutthe lack of drinks available. The speaker was right above the table and was way too loud. Light on the table had food on it.Which made me wonder about the menus as well. They need to clean those after every customer. I just think we would have hadjust as good of food at another restaurant for 1/2 the price with a better experience. We won?t be back. Read more

Went back in April and the weather was nice so we sat outside. It was a little weird sitting so close to the road and people... parking but didn?t really mind as it?s downtown holly springs and isn?t usually too busy ????. We ordered a salad to split (itwas huge) the mozzarella sticks they were delicious and the. Our pasta dishes came with these huge rolls! (These were soooogood!) even though we sat outside the service was good and many people came to check on us and fill drinks etc. price was onpoint for the amount and quality of food. Wonderful Italian eatery with everything from Pizza to delicious Chef Specialties. Friendly staff. Interior is very clean and... service was quick. Update: we have also visited and enjoyed the nicely priced Lunch Specials. I had the Giant (I mean GIANT)Slice, House Salad/Dressing and Soda for $8 (extra for toppings) we also had the 2 GIANT Slice Combo/Drink deal $6 (we took abox home for that 2nd slice). We had add-ons like pepperoni (pictured), but also mushroom and sausage combo and every bit ofthat big slice was covered with a very generous amount. Had family dinner here this week. The service was superb. My waitress was trilingual, impressive. Food was delicious and so was... the dessert and coffee. I had chicken Marsala and a cannoli with cappuccino. Would recommend going there. I?ve been to the Apexlocation and this one is just as great! Read more

Food is delicious, staff is fantastic and whether dining in or out, your party is well taken care of. If you have kids, they'll... love watching the traffic downtown. It is right off a busy road and tables have holes so plan accordingly if with a little andfoods like puffs, etc! Read more

After moving down here from NY, my biggest issue was the food. I could not find anything that was worth going to more than 1... time. I stumbled upon Mamma Mia and I?d have to say it?s Hands down the best Italian restaurant in the area, I?ll even go withbest Italian restaurant in wake county. I?ve been back more that 5 times in the month. If you want to talk about authentic,almost all the staff speaks Italian. The owner is always laughing and joking with the customers. The food is fantastic, the services is exceptional and I'm pretty certain it's the best Italian in Holly Springs (maybe even... Wake County!). I've been multiple times and every time the food is fresh and delicious and the service welcoming and timely. If you're near downtown Holly Springs, make sure to check this place out. First time here. Great variety to choose from on the menu. My daughter in law got a calzon, it was a very good sized one. ... Three of us got a pasta dish (shrimp dish, chicken dish, and a sausage dish). Very good portions, and cooked to perfection. Enjoyed the desserts, good choices. The server was good.
