Best damn BBQ I've had since leaving Texas few months ago will definitely stop again

Just got done eating here all of our food was amazing =) We didnt wait very long either which is always nice when you have kids... with you! All of the staff was super friendly the bartender even checked on our table in the back. We will be back forsure. We decided to have lunch here because they have a very nice casual outdoor seating area that is very handicap accessible. The... parking was convenient and plentiful the place was very clean and our waitress was outstanding. There was a guy playing guitarand singing on the outdoor patio area, he was very good and gave 100% Our orders were ½ mixed fried chicken with mac and cheese& deep fried corn, a tropical rum burger with deep fried corn and a pulled pork sandwich with garlic mashed potatoes. We triedto order the garlic cheese curds but she said they ran out. When the ½ white chicken was ordered she said they were out of legswould it be ok if they substitute a thigh for the second piece of dark meat I said sure then she brought out 3 thighs and a legand said the kitchen misunderstood the order and the white meat would be out in a bit. It came out as we were waiting for ourbill. The Tropical rum burger was very good and it was enjoyed very much. The deep fried corn must be an acquired taste andtexture and was lost on us. The pulled pork sandwich and garlic mashed potatoes were both very good. Since we are going througha pandemic I am conscientious of safety recommendations being followed. So I have been wanting to get to this place to try the food. This review is not for food. I plan to come by boat soon but made... the trip by car to check it out first. I like these no frills places. We met some friends that came by boat. 1st, the place wasalmost empty, no biggie, but the bartender immediately was a problem. She was to busy on her phone and jabbering with a coupleof guys at the bar to get our drink order. It took 15 minutes for us to get a drink and she never checked on us. We had twodrinks and left. I give every place a second chance. I'll be back by boat to try the food and update this review. Hopefullythere is a new bartender or I may have to bring my own drinks because it to much trouble for her to get us one. Read more
