The service was great and our order was ready quickly. Everything was packed and traveled well back home. The purple rice was... nteresting, however and I'm not sure if this was just an outlier the rolls didn't hold together. Almost all of them broke as youwere trying to hold it in your chopsticks. Some of the tempura shrimp inside the rolls didn't really look or taste fresh asthere was some kind of dark liquid in the tail ends. Overall the sushi was good but the rolls didn't really hold up wellcompared to other places I have been to. If the issue with the rolls was an outlier or it improves this place could bepotentially great. Read more

My husband and I tried this place for the first time tonight and we are floored with how amazing this sushi is. As we both ate... our first piece of purple sushi, we looked at each other and there were no words other than the sushi dances in your mouth. We ordered a few times since they opened during the beginning of pandemic, sushi has always been consistently delicious! Purple... rice is a nice touch and food has so much flavour! We tried this place as it was close by and were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the sushi here! We did not expect to find... such a good sushi spot up North. The fish is fresh, the portions are large and we loved the unique black rice in the maki. Theyhave a lot of specialty rolls as well one of which is the volcano roll which is deep fried so the outside is perfectly crispy.Will definitely be back to work our way through the menu! Read more
I ordered Chirashi, spicy scallop roll and volcano roll for 2 person. I am very impressed by the quality and quantity. Not only... freshness of all the ingredients (both main and side dish) , I can also tell the chef is very detail as they put furikake onchirashi rice to add extra flavour. Their purple rice taste really good, I didn?t need serve with much soy sauce . TheirChirashi almost got everything including unagi. Scallop roll is really good , rich in scallop meat ; volcano roll is coated anddeep fried ,I brought it home and it was still crispy. Delicious What a gem, right here in Holland Landing! Amazing quality, the rice and each ingredient is so fresh and delicious.... The presentation is spectacular, and the purple rice adds such a stunning and unique touch to your meal. Not to mention all theadditional health benefits of it. I am so pleased with this place, and the customer service is terrific. I called with aquestion regarding the menu, and they called back within 30 seconds with an answer.
