We were looking for a lunch spot while walking around downtown Holland and ducked into Seventy-Six because the food that was... coming out to the patio patrons looked delicious. We were seated right away. The waitstaff was efficient. I ordered the smokedchicken quesadilla with chargrilled avocado and my husband ordered the short rib grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Had apps a dinner for two on a week night. The bruschetta app we had was amazing! We had a mahi mahi special and the walleye... for entrees and were less impressed. The fish didn't have enough flavor. Reading other reviews, I don't think the cooks have agood understanding of fish. I wish I had ordered beef, which others seem to rave over. Service was on the slow side for aweekday night, but staff was kind and friendly! Overall, I'd say it's a bit pricey for what you get. And they gotta figure outthe fish or pull it from the menu. A nice find -- Had a great lunch here! Very nice decor & yummy ???? food. I had the Nashville spicy chicken & tomato bisque -... I'd give that an 'A' (it does have a bit of kick). My wife had the crab louie salad - she gave it a 'B+ / A-' (it was light onthe crab). Overall 4.75/5 Read more
We enjoyed our experience. We got in right away but then it got super busy and wait times were up to an hour. I thought my... salad was the best I ever had! The chicken added on top was sooo good. My husband was a little disappointed with the special,because it was a lobster and crab dish but it was more like a lobster bisque than actual pieces of lobster. Read more
Amazing food & staff. Beautifully simple decor. The steak was perfection (this coming from a girl from Iowa). Our server was so... good at her job. The whole place is a well oiled machine. We had to wait about an hour to get in on a Friday evening. They takeyour phone number then call once your table is ready. We just wandered around the shops in the area (majority were open late).The owners other restaurants are just down the block. If we get back here those are on the list to try next time. Read more
