First time at Kelly?s today. Food was good. Staff didn?t seem to know if it was breakfast or lunch service. It seems like... Kelly?s doesn?t quite know what it wants to be. Is it a sports bar or is it a restaurant? The bar area definitely has a sportsbar vibe but then the rest is for dining, but it doesn?t have the sports bar vibe. New to Holland and thought we would try this place. We wanted to play trivia and told the hostess. She sat us around the... corner where we couldn?t see or hear any of the questions. The waitress (Kelly) was very unfriendly. We were already put offbefore our drinks arrived. We decided to order the nachos and told the waitress we would continue to look at the menu. Nachoscame and it was cold. I asked about ordering the ?daily pasta special?, she literally said no! I asked why, because I was a bitaggravated at this point and she said the ?daily specials? are only on the weekend? We asked for our bill and went to anotherrestaurant for dinner. Very disappointing! We went for trivia but will go back for the food. We expected burger and chicken strips (and they did a great job on those)but ... were surprised to find delicious chicken piccata with real mashed potatoes and tender crisp green beans. Our server did awonderful job, especially considering how busy it was. Trivia was fun and well run and our team of 10 all had a really gooddinner. Read more
I've been to Kelly's Bar & Grill twice now. Each time was a very similar experience. The first time I went was on a Saturday,... around 7pm. There was 4 of us. Service was incredibly slow. The waitress took our drink order and we waited nearly 30 minutesjust to receive or drinks from the bar. We had multiple drinks, this happened each time we ordered. Food also took about an hourto come out, however we did enjoy our meal. Second experience was on a Monday at 7:30pm. Same experience, food took an hour tobe served. Drinks came slow. There were a few empty tables. I'm not sure why getting anything served takes so long. While thefood is good, service isn't the best, and be expected to wait for awhile. Read more
Amazing!! My wife and I frequent this wonderful restaurant multiple times a week. The food is outstanding. 3/26/22 update: Chef... Bailey & Tristen lead bartender have absolutely turned this place around for the best! Running amazing food & drink specialalmost daily. My wife and I continue to come here even through some tough hiring issues that most restaurants have seen. Johnthe owner has finally assembled a great crew that actually cares about delivering great food and a wonderful experience! Soexcited to have this restaurant on the north side of town. Read more
First time, was impressed with the two apps we had and the service at the bar. Drinks were good, they made a great old... fashioned. The fried raviolis with mushrooms and kale were delicious, the fried crisp on the ravioli was a great twist. TheBrussels were good also but ask for some vinaigrette with it to add a bit more flavor. I had heard the brunch was worth checking out so I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon. The breakfast menu selection was loaded... with omelette choices but otherwise fairly basic. I opted for classic biscuits and gravy with 3 eggs. The plate was rathersimple and not that much food for the price but the gravy was great tasting. Read more
