My son and I visited from Chicago and the food was good with generous portions. This is a cozy friendly cafe and walking... distance from the lake. We loved the server Jen; she was so pleasant and informative. Enjoyed the perfectly poached egg on mytoast but I prefer avocado toast on a thinner multi grain bread and toasted a bit more. The food was amazing and the service was very friendly! I got the quiche and fresh fruit and both were delicious! The fruit was... not soggy at all and tasted as if they had just cut it up this morning. My boyfriend has their breakfast burrito and it was alsodelicious! Delightful staff and place. I absolutely love this place. Wonderful people, exquisite food (dare I admit here), attention to... detail and customer service. From the outside, you may think it would be lacking, sparse, or simply a great hole in the wall.It is not. Well, it is great. What a lovely place atmosphere and people, that kind of small run place that actually cares aboutwhat it does. Even the bathroom is immaculate and attention was paid to it.
