Order the classic club, most of my sandwich was lettuce and supposed to be toast for bread. The meat was so thin you couldn'... taste it and the bacon on it was so small you couldn barely see it and I couldn't taste it either. I probably won't be goingback. Read more

I apologize for being so late with this review. My father and I were in the vicinity visiting Abe Lincoln's birthplace, when we... stopped by for lunch. They might not be the largest operation, but there is so much heart here and excellent food that we'll becoming back when we swing through the area again for sure. Had the "Abe's Awesome Burger" which was so fresh and couldn't bebeat. We had a drive ahead of us, so we ordered our apple pies to go. When we got to the hotel where we were staying, the piewas ENTIRELY worth the wait from it's real apples (still slightly crisp) to their homemade crust! Top notch! Staff was more thanfriendly and attentive. What a great restaurant! Just not enough good things to say about these folks and their food! Read more

I can't say enough. Stopped to get a to go menu for an upcoming weekend trip (is it a trip if you live 20 minutes away but... everyone else involved lives 2 plus hours away?) The friendly staff and earthy, familiar atmosphere got me and before I knew itI was enjoying the best BLT I have ever had anywhere besides my daddy's kitchen.
