One of the worst restaurants I have ever been to -- the person at the cash register was busy chatting on her phone, while... talking to me for the order without even looking at me. I then asked for some water, and she said she couldn't serve waterbecause I ordered a takeout -- all the while, she kept typing on her phone. As for food, I brought it back to my office whichis only 5 min's away, and it was already cold (both the soup and the food), and the taste was average at best. The wholeexperience at this restaurant left a very sour taste in my mouth, and I'm not going back, and if anyone considers venturing intothis restaurant, please be prepared to be disappointed. I used to go to this place several years ago. And I loved the food!! I?m back in Michigan now, and we have a place here that has... the best Chinese food like precious. However, you can only take out or a little bit of delivery. Can?t dine in any more!!!Really miss Precious!! And the place here which is called China Palace.. Honestly disappointed by my first and only experience at this establishment especially after hearing such wonderful things from... a close friend. For starters, our waitress was very impatient and very rude. She caught an attitude over a misunderstanding onher part which was shocking considering that most of the food is not freshly made. I ordered general tso?s chicken and thebroccoli it came with was cold to the touch. When I asked the waitress about it, she said the broccoli is decoration so there?sno need to warm it up. I?ve been eating this dish for 20 years. The broccoli has always been cooked to the temperature of thechicken. The manager had the same poor attitude. This establishment is nothing more than an overpriced, dressed up China Wok.You?re better off just going to the mall and getting Chinese food there. My favorite place in Hoboken hands down. The portions are HUGE and the prices are low. 6.75 for lunch special with a huge soup,... a huge lunch portion, a black tea bag and a fortune cookie. That's enough for 2 of me. Literally. This is 2 lunches for me. Agreat deal also is the rainbow roll special which is 11$ and comes with huge portion of the roll, 4 pieces of sushi, a soup ANDa salad. You can't beat that. It's hard to find decent Chinese food in Hoboken and this place is great! Came in and had beef w. broccoli lunch special, so... yummy. My soup came out fast. The broccoli was fresh and the meat was perfectly tender. I can be picky if food is too salty, but everything was delicious. Quick friendly service. The spicy ???? beef ???? satay ???? soup is the absolute best I've ever had!! I?m no expert given I?ve never been to China but... for the last 10+ years strong anytime its cold ???? or rains ???? I order it for lunch to warm my soul!!!! It?s consistentlythat good.
