I went to Pico Taco?s new location at 418 Baldwin Ave in The Heights today. I?m happy to have them in my neighborhood. The new... location was clean and looked newly renovated. The person who took my order said they just opened at this location last week. Weordered two shrimp tacos, a mushroom taco (Thanks for having a vegetarian option!), and a fish burrito. I was very satisfiedwith all the food! Everything was fresh and flavorful. I moved here from San Diego a year ago and have been missing good Mexicanfood. If they maintain this quality and maybe add some soyrizo as another vegetarian option, I believe I will have found myfavorite Mexican food spot. Read more
The only thing I always get from here are the birria tacos and they are DELICIOUS! I've also gotten their churros a couple of... times and they're great. Can't comment on any of their other dishes, but I love this place! Read more
Right around the corner from the bus and path station is this little Mexican gem. Well it was ok. Things I liked. Guacamole... 8/10, shrimp taco 8/10, chips were kinda well done for me and the salsa was 5/10. There was nobody else there on a Wednesdayafternoon and it still took way too long to make a taco and chips. They apologized but hey why? Good food, but compared to ponchos burritos or la Fortaleza it doesn't stand out. Service and wait time was great, just not that... impressed with the taste, very basic for tacos. I would eat here again because of the limited options for tacos in the immediatearea. Read more
Pico Taco is awesome. Great food and great service all at a super affordable price! When we were able to eat-in, the environment... is a nice place to grab lunch with your friends or coworkers. The style is a southwestern, Mexican vibe. The food ismade-to-order and made with love! I've never had a bad taco there. Also, the observe TACO TUESDAY and celebrate with half-offall tacos! Read more
*Quarantine Delivery Review* Instead of ordering our usual sushi delivery, we decided to go with some tacos because it had been... a while since we had some. And of course, our favorite thing to do is order too much food for two people. Here is everything weordered: Al Pastor Tacos - these were great. Flavor was perfect and they don't skimp on the meat Chorizo Quesadilla - youreally can't go wrong with chorizo or quesadilla Baja Style Crispy Fish Taco - this was my favorite of the group but probablyalso because I love fish tacos. The piece of fish in each taco was big, which I appreciated because I hate when taco spots giveyou the tiniest piece of fish and fill the rest of the taco with veggies Carne Asada Tacos - this was my least favorite. Themeat was a bit chewy and it was also bland Carne Asada Fries - again, the meat wasn't great but the rest of the toppings weregood. I normally don't like soggy fries but somehow, the soggy fries worked here. I'd like to see an al pastor version of thefries. Overall, everything was great (aside from the carne asada).
