I ordered take out and it was quickly ready. The prices are reasonable, but the sushi is not very good. I got three simple rolls... - spicy tuna, salmon, and yellowtail. They weren't very flavorful and the general mouth feel was mushy... You're gonna want touse that huge wad of wasabi they include. At least the miso soup was good. Okinawa offers what you would expect from a solid neighborhood sushi place. sushi and sashimi are always fresh, well prepared... and tasty. Service is pleasant and efficient. GREAT lunch deals on sushi - three rolls (generous portion!) with miso soup andsalad comes to $16.25 (dec 2019). Don?t particularly recommend their hot dishes - such as rice and noodle dishes - they are justok (eg pad Thai is soupy, not authentic). Bento box during lunch is a good value if that?s what you?re craving for, but again,it?s just ok. Read more
Great little sushi and Thai food spot. Big upside is the free parking in the little strip mall. They're not big and it's popular... so it gets crowded, but the food is great and the service is pretty quick so it's worth it. The sushi is awesome, all the rollswe've had are awesome. The appetizers, like gyoza and spring rolls, are very good too. Never tried the Thai options, but theylook and sound good too. We've been twice, and will definitely come back again. I ordered a vegetable udon soup and, not only was it's flavor nonexistent, there was a hair in it that did not belong to me. The... waitress gave me a 10% discount on my tab but still charged for the soup. How outrageous! Read more
Probably the best sushi in hoboken. Fish is fresh, roles are creative and flavorful. Menu is diverse and has all the traditional... sushi options and add-one. We mostly like to order takeaway as restaurant itself is not as appealing. Read more
