A hidden treasure-I only went here recently for the first time because I saw a little sign on Route 1 advertizing it and I had... to wait in the area for someone. It is not an immediately obvious location by the FedEx and U-Haul place. The restaurant isimpeccably clean, the staff friendly and helpful, and the food is delicious. They have wonderful jerk chicken which I love butgreat salads, smoothies, and other items for those who don't do spicy. I've been back a few more times since and introducingothers to it. They are never busy but if others discover them, I know they will keep returning and they will get lots ofbusiness. I have gotten take-out and dined in and had both lunch and dinner. I had been wanting to try this restaurant but I thought they would not have anything for vegetarians. I was wrong, their were... more choices than most restaurants. The food was prepared to order, it was hot, plentiful and absolutely delicious. I will begoing back real soon. The guy behind the counter was amazing, he made the most delicious looking smoothies and had no problemhandling taking orders and making a lot of smoothies using fresh ingredients. 2 thumbs up!!! I was visiting the area and happened upon this spot. I initially was coming in for a smoothie which is a core business for them.... The smoothies are very good, but I decided to settle into their dinning area to have dinner. I ordered the oxtail dinner withrice and peas and salad. The meat was very tender and had lots of mild flavor. Everything was cooked perfectly. Nikki wasespecially nice and provided plenty of menu suggestions. The lady who took my order didn?t act the slightest bit enthused to be there, nothing I attempted to order was available, the... rice and peas were dry and hard, they give you a boring little bed of lettuce they call a salad for a vegetable and don?t evenprovide dressing, and the plantains were nasty. I paid $15 for this lunchtime meal she called a small, that I couldn?t evenconsume half of. Highly disappointed! First and last time I visit. Don?t think they?ll be there long. Read more
This place NEVER disappoints!! The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. I tried the brown stewed chicken today and it was... phenomenal! The atmosphere is perfect. The staff is so kind and courteous and I absolutely enjoy coming here for lunch. Theprices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. Best. Lunch. Ever!!!!! On vacation from Kentucky and stopped in after a day at the beach. The staff is AMAZING! They are... knowledgeable and so friendly! And the kitchen staff rocks! The staff was knowledgeable about #glutenfree and which items willaccommodate my #celiac self. And they clearly cater to their customers. It's always a pleasure to visit a spot where the staff'sfirst response is "YES, we can do that." I ordered the Curried Goat and Fried Green Plantains with a Ginger Beer! My friendwanted fish and ended up with grilled Snapper. I think it was a special order and the grill marks were gorgeous, the fish cookedperfectly. The smoothies looked fantastic and there's a huge variety of flavors. Definitely something for everyone. Greatplace for any meal of the day.
