Very good experience for me. I had the chicken pork and brisket. There brisket is amazing I made my own sandwiches when I got... home. Have came here twice now and I love it. I think it's my new favorite local place. Really enjoyed the brisket. Also got to try... the smoked sausage, and smoked meatloaf and both were very tasty. The food is fresh with a homemade taste. I really love theasparagus spinach corn salad best! So simple so but so perfect. Smoked Mac and cheese also a winner. The people are warm andfriendly, it shows they're putting their hearts into what they do here. I will be a repeat customer. Read more
We tried Off the Grill by Chef Q for the first time today and I have to say it was so good! I ordered the Pork plate w/ smoked... Mac & cheese and collard greens. Ted ordered the 3 meat plate w/ Pork, Chicken and rib tips w/ French Fries and Okra. Theportions are huge and everything we had was delicious! We will be back! Read more
I?ve gone by this place so many times! Finally placed an order and enjoyed EVERY SINGLE BITE! We got the 3 meat sampler with rib... tips, brisket and sausage, pulled pork sandwiches, smoked mac&cheese, Cole slaw, potato salad, broccoli salad and the cucumbertomato salad. My husband and I tried Off The Grill for the first time yesterday. It was very good. We ordered a Brisket dinner with Mac &... Cheese and potato salad, and a Rib dinner with Mac and Cheese and pasta salad. The ribs fell of the bone and the brisket justpulled apart. They both had a slightly Smokey flavor not over powering at all. Everything was delicious. They have aBlackberry BBQ sauce that is amazing. Their regular BBQ sauce is also very good. The only disappointment is they ran out ofcornbread. Hopefully we?ll be able to try it next time. We will definitely go back. We highly recommend this restaurant. Read more
We needed to find a new place for our BBQ fix after our disaster with Rib and Loin. At LEAST 15 people recommended Off The Grill... and it did not disappoint. The ribs were the best we have ever had, the turkey was moist and tasty, and the catfish was solid.Sides were spot on with the broccoli salad being my favorite. Definitely glad we went in search of a new place, this is our newfavorite in town! Read more
Cornbread, Mac n cheese, collard greens, and brisket. If they don't have these, it's not bbq. Chef Q has mastered every aspect... of the perfect bbq eatery. The cornbread was perfectly baked with slightly crisp edges. The collard greens were wonderful, bestI've gotten at a restaurant. The brisket was moist, smokey and just fell apart. But the best thing? The smoked Mac n cheese.This Mac n cheese is more than just elbow macaroni and Velveeta. Its as southern as you could possibly get (sorry Grandmama).The amount of flavor and dedication they put in their food is just beyond comprehension.
