Great food. But over the last year they keep charging more gratuity for less head count. Had 3 adults and a baby that didnt eat... and charged us like we had 4 people. Why would a baby under 2 count as a person when they dont even order a meal? Last time wewent it was 5 people or more and that was just a couple months ago. I showed up to get takeout around 30 min after location had opened. With no more then 2 tables seated inside they proceeded to... inform that it would take 45 min to make my food.. a simple hibachi chicken with fried rice. If I were to dine in I?d have myfood within 30 min from walking in the door and being seated immediately. There is no reason for this horrible businesspractice. Fresh defrosted chicken doesn?t take 45 min to cook. I use to love ichiban. This is my 3rd negative experience in arow within the last 6 months. I will not be back considering there are more efficient restaurants around to get hibachi. Read more

This place has always been great. The food was wonderful and I love how it's cooked in front of you. It was busy when I came but... still didnt have to wait for a table for mor than 3 or 4 minutes. They recently went up on their prices a bit but it's stillworth the money. Read more

sushi was raw and daughter got mad. i dont know what her problem is we eat raw craw dads at home all the time. so we asked our... waiter to microwave or cook our sal mon sushi thing and they agreed to but they looked a little confused. when it came back itwas steaming and the fish was bubbling as if it was alive in the water!! daughter ate one and said itd taste better cold so wejus t tipped the ice out of our drinks and set the sushis on the ice to cool. over all great experience. would eat here again. This was my first time eating here and it was absolutely wonderful!! The man cooking put on a great show for us and was polite.... Our waitress was attentive and kind. I ordered the Lunch Steak and Chicken with Fried Rice! It was delicious - meat was cookedperfectly!! Highly recommend. Read more

The California Tempura Roll and the steak and chicken fried rice are SO AMAZING! Ichiban has been my choice for my birthday... lunch/dinner since I moved here in 2009 and ten years later they have yet to disappoint. Parking is usually not an issue becausethe parking lot is quite big, unless its dinner on the weekend. We made a reservation for party of 8 for 11:30 (when they open)so that we wouldn't have a long wait time and we were seated right away. Eight people was perfect because we took up all theseats on our side so we had the whole half of the room to ourselves. I believe they have larger table to accommodate biggerparties but i have a small family. The restaurant is easy to find and is always clean and organized. The cook is always supernice and watching him cook is always super entertaining for my family and I, and we enjoy the show. I always get an order ofsushi to share and it is delicious. This time I got the California Tempura and I got cream cheese added. It was amazing. By thetime I finished that, the chicken and steak fried rice I ordered was ready. Juicy chicken and steak cooked perfect to mediumrare, just as I had asked. Since tomorrow is my actual birthday, I didn't bother telling the waiter. Usually if you saysomething to the staff, they will send a complementary fruit bowl to you the end of your meal with pineapple and cherries whichis great. As usual, there was plenty to take home. I could get another 2 meals out of the leftovers! All in all, it was a greatbirthday dinner and I can't wait to do it again next year! Read more
