Delicious as always!! Brought my brother from out of town with my grandma for her birthday. Steak in a sack was amazing as... usual. Cuban sandwich, cheeseburger, mini corn dogs, & soup were great. Food is good and service was good. They have a good variety of menu options including vegetarian selections available. You order... at the counter and then they call your number when it's ready for you to come back up to the counter to pick it up. FYI, theydo charge 25c for a cup of tap water unlike most places. The Hixson location still has that authentic taste of the original Ankar Hoagies. The Steak Sack and Onion Rings are as I... remember from years ago. Can't explain it, but the flavor of the food and preparation took me back to my teenage years as Iremember when I first started going to Ankars in the early 80's.
