First, the restaurant agreed to a dessert that they did not have in stock. So then I took my second choice and did not have it... in stock either then they offered me a much cheaper replacement than what I had already paid for. My son ordered nachos and theygave him 15 nachos and then a cup full of ingredients no cheese nothing else. There was nobody in the restaurant you would thinkthey could prepare food a little bit more with a sense of quality. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I?ve given this location 3 chances, and each time is worse than the last. They?re always out... of something and have no helpful suggestions for substitutes. The staff is rude and unprofessional. The young ladies at theregister were real quick to throw their GM under the bus for all of the issues. Clearly this location needs a complete reset.I?m absolutely disgusted with the lack of service at this restaurant and I will not be coming back. Ever. Read more

We showed up at the appropriate time It stated our order would be ready. We waited an addition 5 minutes for the worker to tell... us there was no turkey. We both ordered turkey clubs. He then told us we could get ham so we said okay. There is one slice ofham on each of our sandwiches. I also asked for avocado and there is none on mine. He then stated there was no salt and vinegarchips (there were no chips other than jalapeño). He THEN stated there was no lemonade (we both ordered 1/2 & 1/2 teas). He thenstated they only had Diet Coke, sweet tea, and Fanta. This is absurd. We had to change our whole orders and waited a long time.No one was apologetic. Look how pitiful. Oh also when I took apart my sandwich I finally found the avocado. ON top of this I getto the car to find no utensils. I go in and they say THEY HAVE NONE! You can?t make this stuff up. Read more

This was my first time eating here. I ordered a veggie sandwich and a few sides for pickup. They forgot the pickle, roasted... peppers, and only put 3 thin slices of avocado for my whole sandwich. It was pretty bland. At least the sides were good. Read more

I will not be going back to this location. Terrible, terrible, terrible service!!!! I feel badly for the people who have to be... at the register because it's usually one person with 5-6 kitchen employees goofing off, listening to music, talking, and messingup orders. ALWAYS gets my order wrong-I place my orders online so it's literally written out. We only eat there because itsclose to my house, but I refuse to pay over 10 dollars for a sandwich with 2 pieces of meat, at best with a little lettuce andmustard (Italian is what I usually order). Don't even think about actually getting a pickle with your meal, they never put onein when you ask for it. I understand staffing is an issue but most places in Hiram are not staffed well and are at leastapologetic for the inconvenience. Read more

McAlister has redeemed itself. My first and only experience was the new McAlister in Acworth. I just visited this McAlister... location and I have nothing but positive vibes. I was greeted by one young lady as soon as I walked in with a welcome. Firstglance: floor is immaculately clean as well as the tables...big plus as it is the first thing I notice walking into a restaurantand the most important factor I will not over look. I walk up to the counter and I am greeted by a young lady named Zakia. Shewas extremely helpful, well groomed and dressed. Zakia was very patient. I had explained I had only been to McAlister once at adifferent location and she even had a couple suggestions. She was just very pleasant which was refreshing all on it's own. Youguys know how much I love good customer service so when I get it, I dought on who ever gives the excellence of customer service.She went above and beyond to help and I am grateful and thankful. I ordered the Roast beef and horseradish sandwich withpotatoe salad and a large blackberry lemonade. Everything was great. The sandwich was made to perfection and exploded withflavor. Same with the lemonade, it was a different kind of refreshing. Long story short, when you have a clean restaurant, withgood food and excellent customer service, you need more that a 5 star rating in my book. A big thank you to Zakia andmanagement. Your location in Hiram is a winner! Acworth should take note as you lead with a great example of what a McAlistershould be. Read more

I like McAlister?s restaurants but this location seems to always drop the ball. Because I live nearby I have visited several... times. I always place mobile orders and there?s always something wrong so I don?t think I will be visiting this locationanymore. On 12/26 I placed a mobile order for a veggie spud with extra broccoli. If you?ve ordered this before then you know thebroccoli is supposed to be chopped, and the cheese is supposed to be rotel, not shredded cheese. They gave me big stalks ofbroccoli, they were old and looked like trees growing out of the potato. And there was shredded cheese all over, not Rotel. Ontop of that I had to wait 20 minutes after the promised ready time to get my order, even though I was the only car in line atthe pickup window. Also, this location could do a better job in giving the proper customer service training to its employees,subpar. Read more

We picked up an order and our food was way below par. Our kid?s grilled cheese has been placed under a toaster to melt the... cheese and it was burnt while the bread was untoasted. The upcharged fruit cup was all honeydew melon (which was too hard for akid to chew) and two mushy grapes. Our order was also missing all condiments for the spud (which was cold, but not just reheatedmyself), pickles for sandwiches, and utensils. The staff was very rude and could care less when we called and put us on hold fora manager and then hung up. Read more
