This is my 2nd time at this establishment I went once before covid and then today 1st let me start with the customer service and... the person at the counter who took my order She had the most warm and inviting friendly customer service personality She wasjust Amazing As for the food when I placed which was a pool pork sandwich platter with baked beans and collar greens. It didn'ttake the food long to come out but the pushing sizes are small for the price that you pay. Overall the food was not bad. But itwasn't Great either. The pulled pork sandwich was really small but it was good and the sauce that comes with it was really niceThe baked beans were a little bit too sweet for me and the colllard greens were tasteless. They didn't taste like SouthernCollard greens are suppose to taste with a little spice, heat and flavor. I will probably not return to this establishmentbecause I was not impressed... Read more
This was the best bbq I've had. The cornbread is amazing. The smoked Angus beef is so delicious. The chopped pork is so good you... don't need to add sauce. The potato salad is out of this world. Read more
We haven?t been to the happy hog in quite some time. The last few times we went which was a couple of years ago the food wasn?t... that good. But it?s under new management. Came here with my family. I had a Burger and sweet potato fries.... My fries didn't taste like anything, I was hoping to have... that sweet potato taste ????... The Burger was nothing to sit down and write home to mom about just OK... I only gave 4 starsbecause we had a really nice waitress and we didn't have a long wait at all for all the food we had. Not Bad... just a few tweaks needed. Chopped Chicken Sandwich and tenders was overcooked and super dry. Had to put a lot of BBQ... sauce to eat it. Fried pickles and fries were good but would have been great if not extremly over salted. Brunswick stew lackedmeat and tasted a bit like spaghetti-o's. Yellow Jackets were perfect. Overall, clean restaurant and service was exceptional.Maybe a bit more attention to cook times and seasoning of sides. Read more
This place is so good! The pulled pork barbecue and salad were amazing with these big ole fresh fries and they're cornbread is... amazing! Very clean,good bbq. Ribs fell off the bone...really smooth sauce,nice pulled pork. Onion rings were awesome. Very good banana... pudding.service was quick,clean ,attentive to detail and read back my order to confirm correct. Nice job,will eat there again. Read more
The food was delicious! The staff was friendly! The service was superb! The atmosphere is casual, and it's a great place for... families and friends. There is ample room indoors. The tables are not too close together. There is plenty of parking. Read more
