Gorgeous views (even despite the wild fire over the mountain), great service and delicious food.

Extraordinarily good high-end restaurant for such an out of-the way place. First-rate chef, certainly. Solid lengthy wine list.... I had Braised Beef Short Rib with Quebec maple syrup and soft polenta, which was quite stunningly delicious. My partner hadsalmon, which she loved. It came with gnocchi, which I tasted. Great breakfast/brunch spot for a nice view. Not sure how dinner is over there but the atmosphere and service was wonderful.... Jessica, our server was phenomenal and did very well to set a high standard. If in the area, would be back. Our server Michael was amazing!! He was polite, and humorous AND he spoke French ?? How frickin cool is that. It?s a bit on the... pricier side but worth every penny. We shared the mussels and I had the lamb sirloin, and he had the beef tenderloin. Everythingwas unbelievably tasty. Excellent food. Highly recommend this restaurant. Often even at high end restaurant, there is some dishes or desserts that are... not as good as others. This was not the case at Stone Peak Restaurant; honestly cannot say which dish was preferred. They allwere well done and very enjoyable. Our server Michael was excellent too. Friendly, talkative and made the experience evenbetter. He told us the chef especially makes each of the desserts himself. Definitely would come here again. What I didn't likeis when making a reservation, the person who answered the phone made it sound so busy that our only option to get a table was5pm or 8:30pm. We took the 5pm slot and finished dinner at 7:30pm. It was fairly empty so I can't imagine they would have asitting and expect them to finish in 1 hr when it took us 2.5hrs to eat.
