A hidden gem of tasty Canadian-Chinese food at reasonable prices. We found this restaurant by accident while driving to another... eatery. The tip off was seeing ALOT of parked cars in front of this restaurant and almost none at our original choice. Anothergood sign was the number of people doing pickup for take out food. It was Good Fortune to find this friendly small family runrestaurant with a buffet on a Saturday night. It had a good selection of traditional favorites, as well as a small salad barwith freshly prepared cut fruits and vegetables, and cold seafood (shrimps and mussels). The buffet trays were refilledfrequently so that food was freshly cooked and hot. I have to say the tender and flavourful ginger beef was perfect, worth arepeat visit on its own. They also make delectable won ton soup - you can taste the ginger notes in the soup dumpling. We willcertainly make it one of our favorite Hinton stops from now on. Great food, good service, clean and open late til 10:30 pm do it was perfect going to dine there after a day hike, rock climbing... and soak in Miette hotsprings. Average tasting food. The best thing we ordered was probably the spring rolls. The rice was very bland and the noodles were... below average. They seem to be quite popular, so it was a disappointing experience for us. Service was good. But that was aboutit. Read more
