I placed an order last Saturday and I had a great experience. The pizza was taking a while to come so I called the store and the... manager explained everything to me. They were understaffed that day (like many places) and it was taking longer than usual butit was still on the way. The manager even calculated how long it would take to get to me. The manager and the driver went aboveand beyond to make sure I knew what was going on and got my order complete and delivered right when they said it would be. My 1st time at this location. I ordered online and submitted my order at 4 p.m. My confirmation said it would be done by 4:18... p.m. I arrived at the location at about 4:20. Checked in. I had 4 pizzas and some cheesy bread as my order. They told me itwould be a few more mins on my pizzas. No big deal. I'm usually pretty patient. 20 mins or so go by I finally get my order butone pizza is missing. So I let them know. They go check. I was told that it was sitting to long and they don't want to send mewith a cold pizza so they were going to make me another. So I continue to be patient as several other customers are comingthrough drive thru and inside getting their orders. By this point it's 5:10. Still waiting on 1 pizza. I go up to check. I'mtold it'll be 4 more minutes. I give it about 10 more mins before I check again and some girl in the back yells to anotheremployee that she gave my pizza to someone else. By this time I just asked for a refund,I was over it. I was there for over anhour. Alot of young people in there listening to loud music just looking lost.The manager never even came out to assist orapologize or anything. Just had Marco's pizza. After reading the reviews, I placed an order for 2 family size. The 1st thing I asked was....do you have... enough drivers today? Well, pizza came promptly & the pizzas were delicious. Very satisfying & toppings were plentiful & nongreasy. Keep it up Marco's pizza! We will be back for more???????? Read more
Just don?t order from them. I placed a pizza order at 430 pm and the estimated tracker said the order would be delivered by 520... pm. At 6 pm there was no pizza at my residence, and the online tracker said it was still on the way. I called the store and aworker said that the delivery driver just picked up my pizzas and they are on the way due to the fact there is only one driverworking. I did not get my pizzas until 625 pm. It?s not a rant about the actual workers but for the management and the franchiseowner. If you only have one driver working and you know that the delivery times are going to be longer than expected how aboutcalling the customer to inform them about the actual wait time? Customers are aware that everyone has low staff availability inthe food service industry but that is no excuse for no call or updates. If you knew there is only one driver you?re telling methat whoever is the shift lead, manager, etc. cannot assist in delivery duties? I find this hard to believe. They continue to take an excessive amount of orders rather than telling customers that they are unable to fulfill an order... within a specified time. Based on reviews this is not a new issue, yet the practice continues. I wanted to reward some studentswho had excelled academically. The school is 1.3 miles away, but students waited 1.5 hours beyond the promised time for pizzathat was NOT DELIVERED. Never again will I patronize or recommend this business.
