Three of my co-workers had a hankering for some Jamaican food so we decided to stop at this restaurant to eat. It was my first... time trying Jamaican Food, I enjoyed my Chicken Curry with white rice and sweet plantains. The restaurant was clean and theserver was on it. A small gem. We came on a weekday so it was rather slow business, the waiter was super sweet and very helpful. The food was... perfect and the portions plenty. I would have loved to try a dessert cake but we were too full from the amazing food. Read more

A most pleasant surprise! Right next to my Motel on this road trip was a very authentic Jamaican restaurant. The staff was very... friendly and accommodating. I ordered one of my favorite go to dishes on most Jamaican menus Oxtails with Rice and Peas withplantains. It was very good! They were not stingy with the Oxtails. You know what I mean, some places give you a lot of rice alot of cabbage with one or two good sized pieces of Oxtail followed by some miniscule, almost meatless bones. Not here, theplate was filled with huge meaty pieces, falling off the bone and so tasty I was noisily sucking on the pieces and licking myfingers. I almost couldn't finish my plate....almost. I went for the goat but there was no goat before lunch time ????. The food is always good and the portions are always big. I had... jerk chicken and pork, best I've ever had to this point. Food was good, but it wasn?t anything special. I ordered the jerk chicken and curry goat, but while waiting I was told they were... out of jerk chicken so I exchanged it for curry chicken (assuming with the issue they?d ?hook it up?). The flavors on thechicken/goat were kind of bland and not that flavorful in any category. The side of plantains was spectacular but had 10x moreflavor compared to the chicken/goat.
