BEWARE The staff is NOT properly trained to identify gluten free items. We were excited to find a gluten free bakery in Hilton... Head! We went in to get a gluten free bagel, we assumed that a GLUTEN FREE BAKERY would only sell gluten free. This is not thecase, they also sell regular bakery items!! We ordered a gluten free bagel, I had a conversation with the cashier about whetherit was a going to be soft and good since it was gluten free and he assured me it would be and it would be very good. We got thebagel, ate it, it was very good! We enjoyed it so much that we went in to order another and that's when someone from thekitchen came out to tell me they were out of gluten free bagels and what I had received was a wheat bagel!!!! Imagine myhorror to find out I had just enjoyed a wheat bagel from a gluten free bakery!! We were so disappointed and angry. Thankgoodness I'm not celiac, but gluten sensitive and suffered only digestive issues, but what if I had been celiac??!! Aftercomplaining to the owner's husband, the only thing they could say was "well, sorry, everyone makes mistakes, we're only human". REALLY? They didn't even offer a refund, or seem to understand the importance of the matter. People seek out a gluten freebakery for a reason. Staff should be thoroughly trained in the importance of what they are selling, and it's beyond me why agluten free bakery even sells items with gluten to begin with!! Very disappointing. Be certain you know what you are gettingif you choose to visit! Read more

My husband and I just went in for some coffee, and left with joy in our hearts. My coffee was incredible (they have delicious... nutty flavors that make me feel like I?m back home for fall) but hands down the best gluten free pastries I?ve had so far in theentire country. I get a cheesecake brownie and my husband got a velvet cupcake. I love the vibes I love the food and I love thecoffee. I will definitely be a regular here for the rest of our honeymoon! Read more

I had high hopes for this place because it?s really cute but the dairy free cupcake I had was the worst? by far? dairy free... cupcake I?ve ever had. It was so bad. My three year old didn?t like it so I tried the cupcake and I actually spit it out becauseit was so bad. I don?t know who makes the recipes but that vegan dairy free vanilla cupcake with chocolate frosting has got togo. It?s inedible. We threw it away. It tasted almost like fish. That had no vanilla flavor at all. I don?t know if mine wasexpired or something. The service and coffee was otherwise good and friendly but that cupcake was just foul. Read more
