Used to be one of my favorite spots but when their bartender/manager Neil left it went way downhill, quality of food declined... and prices skyrocketed. I don?t understand 19 dollars for 12 frozen boneless wings or to add cheese to an already 20 dollarburger is so much and if you wanted bacon or jalapeños add another 150 for fries instead of chips Your looking at nearly 30dollars. I loved this spot but that?s insane and feels like they are out to get you Read more

Stopped in during a four hour layover at the airport. Waitstaff was extremely helpful and personable, giving recommendations on... menu items. I observed their interactions with other patrons and everyone seemed to be treated with the same welcominginteractions. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was just right. The dressing wasn't too strong. Serving size was just right. Read more

We tried Street Meet The American Tavern for the first time on our first night and it did not dissapoint! Shared the hot pretzel... with cheese sauce for an appetizer. I had a veggie burger - it was actually for real homemade (not an Impossible/Beyond/etc.burger) and it was fantastic. Got the homemade onion rings as my side and I piled some on top of the burger. Hubby got theTurkey Jones which was a big sandwich with turkey, bacon, swiss, fries and gravy - also with the homemade onion rings for theside. And my 6 year old had a corn dog with potato chips, which wound up costing a whopping 50 cents because on Saturdays theyhave kids pay what they weigh - how fun is that! The names of items on their kids menu just cracks me up also (which is honestlywhat drew me to this place in the first place ????). And while we?re not from Ohio (I know, shocker) I can say that the decor isfun and the OH-HHI-O Bar tshirt they sell is super clever. Really great friendly service also. We chose to sit outside and wereseated immediately at about 6 pm. We will certainly be back next year! Read more

I really hate wasting my time on this review because there is not anything positive to say. To be honest this place isn't worthy... of a good review or recommendation. As you can see from all my positive posts that most of the time I appreciate good quality, service, and prices. This place did not hit on any of them. Waitress forgot my wives wine - we waited for over 15 mins until wejust told the other waiter to cancel it. He said nicely "we won't charge you" ---I chuckled and said "of course you won't,because she never even got it" The staff was not attentive, my soup was not hot the gyro sandwich lacked flavor. Even aftertelling the waiter about the issues he said we are "giving you a $3 off discount" Thanks but never again we we return to thisplace. Read more

The food was fine. The service was comical. They were so kind but they're serving hotdogs and had a hard time getting that right... or done in a timely manner. I had to remind them about refills multiple times. I also hoped for better fries.... The menu ishuge and a little confusing. The outdoor seating area is nice. With so many options on the island, I'm not sure I'd go hereagain. Read more
