Bartender was very knowledgeable about his tequila, very personable and made my day after many long flights. Food was amazing... and I would highly recommend this place. Food is very affordable, drinks are top shelf and worth every penny. (And I am an Gindrinker not a huge fan of tequila, and I found one I loved). Read more

PROS: We were in town for a golfing trip with buddies and we decided to stop here one evening for dinner. OMG the ambience and... atmosphere were very nice The chips and guacamole were fantastic The thing that went over the top for the group was the StreetCorn. OMG that was by far the BEST thing we ate that entire trip. If you visit this place and DONT order the street corn thenyou are making a big mistake and missing out. Awesome taste. We came back the next day before leaving town and each got an orderfor street corn. We plan to visit again and again every time we are in Hilton Head CONS: None Read more

Walked in before prime time. Occupancy was low inside and out. Ordered a Cadillac Margarita and Iced Tea, both initial orders... were delivered promptly. My food order, Tamales and Chips & Salsa (not a free item here) were also delivered promptly byanother team of people. This is where the process broke down. Refills were impossible. After waiting patiently for 20-30minutes I resorted to calling out to my waiter, who still walked away. Asking his colleague (a kind lady with dark hair andglasses) to help yielded a tea refill and a new order placed for another Margarita. The tea was near instant, by the kindcolleague, the margarita 7-10 minutes later. By this point it was clear the server I was assigned was either over loaded orsomething else was up. The kind colleague took good care of her customers while I waited. The food - tamale was good andauthentic, though very significantly corn - far thicker than it should be with corn. Very little carnitas in the center. Whatwas there was flavorful - cost optimization perhaps? At $18.50 in this market the dish was appropriately priced. Premium chipsand salsa - the chips were not exciting - neither warm nor seemingly particularly fresh - the hot salsas supplied wereinteresting and flavorful. Not anywhere in the realm of a good value even here at $7 regardless. Cocktails - I enjoyed theCadillac margarita. It was well mixed with premium ingredients and had the right amount of tequila on two drinks ordered whichseemed identical in makeup. Consistent. Appropriately priced at $12 each. The venue - outdoor seating was nice. While withina strip mall it is typically Hilton Head like in that it's lush with trees and greenery all around. I enjoyed the seatingoutside. Overall, the frustratingly slow seemingly indifferent service experience hurt an otherwise OK (3-4 star) experiencefor Mexican cuisine based on my experience. I am very service conscious, if you are open to waiting for service for extend Read more

Not your typical Mexican restaurant. No chips and salsa as with most Mexican restaurants. Burrito was very little meat and... loaded with beans and rice. The shrimp tacos has 3 small shrimp and very little else as you can see by the photo. We lefthungry, will not be going back. Read more
