Maybe it?s the atmosphere people are paying for? Certainly isn?t the sushi and sashimi. I got takeout from here tonight and... definitely feel like I overpaid. The sashimi pieces were small and not very fresh, the salad was just romaine lettuce, the sushiwasn?t much better than what you?d get at the grocery store. Our reservation was confirmed and we were seated promptly at the requested and preferred table. We were there for Sushi and had... seared tuna as an appetizer and sashimi dinner with saki. All was very good and it was a delightful experience. Highly recommendthis restaurant. Read more

Peaceful venue, great options. Recommend the tofu bento box with hot green tea and miso soup as the starter.

Awesome food. Very nice atmosphere. We sat in a "pit". Basically it's a sunken sitting area. A little difficult to get down in... there, but it was very comfortable once you are. Service was great. It's our choice for Japanese and Sushi. Read more

So highlights. Food was good traditional American style Japanese food. But the service was not so good. The young Hostess sat us... in a traditional style table that goes is surrounded by a platform. We mentioned this would be difficult for one of our olderparty members and she stated this is all we have. She was able to get in and Barry able to crawl our. I even had. A tough timegetting in. No service for about ten minutes while we sat uncomfortably. Had to climb my way out and flag someone down before wecould get service. The icing on the cake, The regular style six top table just next to us, could easily have accommodated us;sat empty the whole time we were there. Showed up a little before they opened up for dinner at 5:30pm. The entry boardwalk thing really helps set the mood for when you... walk into the restaurant. Sat at the bar and was waited on by a man who made my dining experience fantastic - George (thebartender). Got to chit chat the afternoon away and enjoy some pretty darn good reasonably priced sushi! Tip: order yourself somhot Sake as it pairs really nicely with sushi. Oh and Monday?s you can get away without making a reservation but highlyrecommended to make one for other days. Read more
