I had the pleasure of dining at Casablanca during my stay at Hilton Head earlier this week. I was craving Greek/Mediterranean... food so I looked online and came across this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that the owner was actually fromMorocco, given that the restaurant name ?Casablanca? is that of a moroccan city. Being for Morocco myself, I really miss thefood and I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to try it out. I went with my best friend, and as soon as we walked inwe were nicely greeted by the smiling owner who gave us a very warm welcome. I also got to chat with him and he was verysweet. We ordered the food, waited for about five minutes, and then the owner himself brought it to us: THIS WAS THE BEST FOODOMG MY PALET NEVER FELT MORE ALIVE!!!! I suddenly felt like I was back home ???? everything was perfectly seasoned and fresh andso tasty! Having been in the US for so long I completely forgot what good food actually taste like!!! I tried out a fewrestaurants in Hilton Head, but I have to say Casablanca is by far my favorite. I would highly recommend it to anyone lookingto enjoy authentic Mediterranean cuisine. the best Mediterranean food I have eaten in a long time, you must try mix grill 3, it is a delight of flavors in the same dish,... the chicken shawarma is very rich, wonderful staff with the best attention they make you feel at home, I could not leave withouttrying the extraordinary baklava I highly recommend it, without a doubt I will return ..!!! Wonderful food!! Indoor and outdoor seating. Had the sampler platter, the owner was nice enough to make it all vegetarian,... everything on the platter was perfect. Husband got the chicken wrap with rice. He said must flavorful rice he ever had, andchicken had delicious spices on it. The owner told us the spices he used in the dishes. We can?t wait to go back and try moredishes. You order at the counter from menu and then they bring it out. We ate outside in a nice courtyard with umbrella coveredtables. Read more
