Spent $25 + $6 tip on a large salad with sautéed shrimp (takeout order). I got home & there was no dressing at all. Called the... Restaraunt to let them know & was told “we’ll refund you $2.00 for the mistake”. I was like “but I tipped you $6”…he eventually said they’d reverse the tip. Too far & too tired to drive back so I’ll be eating a dry salad with shrimp fordinner. Working in customer service my entire life I sure wish they tried a little harder to make this a better experience forme. I understand that mistakes happen… but when they do, make it a point to do everything that you can to turn the customerexperience around. I like the food & will likely return… but I’ll make sure I remind them to add the dressing next time.???????? Read more
My husband celebrated my 40th birthday here and we could not find a better place to celebrate this special occasion. We were... lucky enough to be seated in front of the kitchen, which by the way, are the best seats in the restaurant. We had an AMAZINGinteractive experience with Chef Dominic and Sous-chef Yama; they are INCREDIBLE. We asked to the chef for his self-createddishes, and he gave us his absolute BEST!. We had small plates, like tapas more or less, and they were absolutely delicious.Every plate had its own vibe, magic, and technique. The food was really FRESH, cooked in front of us, could not ask for more.Alexis, our server/host/sommelier was OUTSTANDING. She gave us the best pairing for every dish, she delivered to perfection ourrequests, and catered us like royalty, she even ordered an Uber for us when we were finished. Everything… literally everything was great! From the service, the food quality and quantity to the prices. I highly recommend... the mushrooms as a starter, the seafood hot pot, and the bento box. But honestly, everything that we tried (there were 6 of us)was just so so good. In addition, the quantity of food was quite generous and their prices - while not cheap - are veryreasonable. This place is a great stop for some Japanese Food, good prices and friendly service. Very convenient location between the... airport and hotels. Only thing is they don’t accept American Express. Other then that I love this place and always try to stopby if I have time. Read more
