Made an online order only to find out that I cannot go in and get my food. Had to get in the very long drive thru line.

Absolutely terrible. The portion size of everything was so tiny that It took me four spoonfuls to finish my order of mashed... potatoes and gravy. We paid extra for some white meat, and the breast was so small that it must have come from a quail. KFC isusually overcooked, but the breasts were so overcooked that neither my partner nor I wanted to finish the last one even thoughwe were both still hungry. Over $40 for a tiny portion of food. The few positive things I can say is that the biscuits werepretty good and worth the price. The coleslaw was quite tasty, but again, we only got a tiny portion. The chicken "tenders" wereso small and about as tender as shoe leather, but edible and the taste was decent. You'd be much better off driving across thestreet and going to get the big, juicy, delicious chicken tenders from Safeway, along with a box of instant potatoes, a pouch ofgravy mix, and then stop at KFC to get some biscuits. It would cost much less and you'd get a lot more, tastier food. The picbelow is their idea of a serving size of mashed potatoes and gravy. If I worked there, I would be embarrassed to be serving thisto customers for the prices they charge. Easily the worst food at the most expensive price I've had since I moved back to Hilo.Bad fast food at gourmet prices. UPDATE: KFC said that they would get in touch with me and never bothered. I guess there'snothing they can really do since they've decided to just rip off us Hawaiian residents. I was in Ohio this last week and we hadKFC and the food was good, the portion size was at least 10x that of Hawaii, and the price for the exact same meal was almost$20 less. ($31 vs $47.) Do NOT buy KFC in Hawaii. This is outrageous and we should not let them get away with this lack offood, quality, and customer service. I am completely disgusted. Read more

Very rude attitude- wanted to ask question and was ignored! Extremely slow drive thru. Nashville hot chicken had barley any... Nashville hot sauce and was like a regular chicken tender. Go to Burger King instead! Read more

I went through the drive through cashier, ordered a 8 piece bucket original , I opened m you order at home and found I received... 4 medium/ small thighs, 2 wing sections, and 2 small drumsticks for which I paid $20 for. This was a very disappointing andupsetting experience for something I love to buy on a whim. Whoever packed my order doesn?t value your customers. It?s sad thatI need to inspect my order from now on before I leave. M Read more

KFC is one of our go to place, for a quick meal when we are running for an errands for the day, despite couple of bad... experiences we had, we are still coming back, last night i was in Hilo town and I was late coming home and obviously have notime to prepare food, but my stopped to this KFC is another regret for me, never fail I said... we either served with wrongorder, missing some order or overcharged with order, twas upsetting.. the fact that you won't know what you got if that is theright food until you got home, its disappointing, more so if you are hungry that ruined your appetite, our previous experiencesit only keeps filing up in various ocassions, this time my order was simple 12 pcs. Chicken Wings but I ended up coming homewith 10pcs. nothing on it but spicy which i didnt ordered spicy, to be honest 2pcs Wings missing it isn't really the big issue,the issue is that pay more attention to what these people are doing we all know that prices are climbing sky high in anywhereyou turn around specially in ordering food therefore they have to satisfy customers for the money that they're paying for, Iunderstand we make mistakes but please prevent it from occasional occurences one mistakes is enough because regardless we asconsumers had no choice paying for the price, therefore we deserved to get the right food for what we paid for, so to make thisshort story, as I was as disappointed and hungry shortly when I got home I tried calling KFC someone answered and hung up, Ithen dialed back and the phone stayed busy. What a customer service. . I think this is my last draw for me, this time im feedup with people that aren't committed for quality service, shouldn't be working there if they can't function right, I wouldn't recommend KFC never anymore, poor service, missmanage. Very run down and poor management. I got hair with my chicken, missed/messed up the orders, run out of chicken a lot of times,... only have tenders, and the chicken tasted old or leftover from last week!! Most recent, I did an online order for my kidsgraduation party and sure enough this place never failed to disappoint me!! I do hope it?s get better because I do like KFC andit is the only one here. The closing time stated 10 pm and the shop closed before 9 pm. We went back on the next day in the afternoon. The fried chicken... quality and services were disappointed. Only Drive thru service available and it was more than 30 minutes waited. We ordered 4pieces of chicken for 2 boxes and requested two pieces of chicken breast. However, we did not recieve the requested order. Thechicken was overcooked and dried. Mashed potatoes was very salty. Read more
