Average burger place with average pricing. Good spot if you want to catch a football game with your burger. Intimate atmosphere... with old pub vibe. We left happy but nothing to write home about. Service was OK Read more

Our first visit to Hilo Burger Joint was as expected? good food, live music, and awesome creative burgers ????! Our server was... friendly, but could?ve been more prompt. We waited for a bit for water at first, then starters came late (with the meal), andour waters weren?t refilled. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it and the food was tasty. Read more

I?d like to consider myself a burger connoisseur; what?s my last meal on death row? The All-Star Breakfast from Waffle House,... but a Wagyu Burger from Hilo Burger Joint comes in a close second. The trick to a good burger: being cooked just right (medium)and the right seasoning, both of which HBJ succeeded in. I?m a very basic guy (bun, meat, cheese), but take my word: this burgergave me a half chub. Don?t even get me started about the fries: cooked and seasoned to perfection. Great selection of brewsfrom the islands and spirits from around the globe. 11/10 recommend if you?re on this side of Big Island. Read more

Absolutely amazing burger joint. They must have had 20 different burger Concoctions to choose from including wagoo beef patties.... Sweet potato fries. They also have a full bar and many local and trusted brews. I really loved the old fashioned western saloonvibe. The are also LGBTQ friendly and welcomed. There's a huge and by huge I mean a true giant Banyon tree across the streetwhich makes a great spot for a big family photo. Thanks so much for your hard work and effort to make this place awsome andtasty. Keep it up we will be returning. ???? Read more

Energizing environment with live music and delicious food. We had outdoor seating but didn?t feel like we were missing out on... the vibe indoors. Our server was awesome - she was fun and took great care of us. We tried the Kim Chee for an appetizer whichwas good but was just a small portion by itself. I think if they warmed it or served it with something fun, there could be acool twist there. All in all a cool place to feel like a local. Read more
