Reviews for Binh Duong II in Hillside, NJ
Had pho, egg roll and Thai tea. All good tasted below average. Service was by far the rudest and most unprofessional I've ever... seen. Read more
The server had a very bad attitude. Do not order the Pad Thai there. It was disappointing. I'm sure the other dishes might be... ok, but the Pad Thai did not taste like Pad Thai. Saddly, i will not taste anything else in that restaurant because the serverhad such a bad attitude but still demanded a tip that i will not return again. Read more
I?ve frequented this restaurant quite often as late. Today I decided to sit in and have lunch. I asked for the summer rolls and... wanted mint inside. I was told there was no mint. Another customer comes in white male and orders his lunch and the same waiter/server brings him a plate of bean sprouts and FRESH MINT. I felt rushed to order. Never again will they get my business. this place was just okay overall, I am glad they exist, as I love vietnamese food and it's nice they're in the area. I've... definitely had better pho broth the foods I had: pho: good taste but the broth didnt have a real depth of flavor, and they werea bit stingy with the basil and jalapeños. they didnt mind giving me extra and didnt charge me for it either, so that was good.most importantly, it wasnt very hot to begin with. the summer rolls: they were good the bowl, with pork and vermicelli: it wasreally scant on meat, I mean REALLY. it had the flavors and things I usually get, but some more meat please! service was goodbut kind of had me wondering if the waiter was short tempered, bothered, moody, or just a peculiar type of person. hopefully Iget to try other dishes and see if they are as good as some here wrote. A little pricey not perfect but its authentic and the food is good. We live in NYC and the Vietnamese restaurants are owned by... Chinese. Alot of people don't know the difference. But my hubby is Chinese and knows when they are speaking one of the 200dialects of Chinese. This restaurant is authentic and good. Read more

The first time I ordered from here the food was satisfying and delicious, service was average, and I wanted to come back. A year... later I order phö to pick up and when I arrive home and open the box, I see the meat is pink, not slightly pink, or halfcooked, just 3 slices of raw meat on top of cooked meat. When I called they seemed confused and offered a discount, but insteadI returned the food and got a refund. They were at least nice about it.. Read more
This (and also the sister location in Bloomfield) used to be my favorite Vietnamese restaurant in the area, but it seems like... they changed ownership this year and the quality of the food and service has gone way downhill. The meat is now cheap andrubbery, the pho broth has no flavor/tastes like it's prepackaged, the noodles are soft, soggy and break right apart. On top ofthat the ownership/service is RUDE, so expect a side of attitude with your overpriced food. I'm so sad the previous team isgone. I'll have to travel to Parsippany for some decent pho now. I've given them several chances already but today was the last.Never again. Read more
