Home Run Inn was known for it's flaky butter crust pizza, unfortunately after they began to sell franchises they started using... cheap ingredients. This specific location has absolutely nothing in common with the original Home Run Inn. The store isn't veryclean, the staff clearly doesn't care about customers and the food is not good. On this occasion a friend from out of townwanted to go here, the pizza was raw under the rubbery flavorless grease pooled cheese. I don't recommend this place. Read more
The counter service was horrible. I explained to the young ladies that this was our first time and we were inquiring about the... crust of the pizza. Not sure how she could even see us through those eyelashes. We were told the wait for take out was running25-30 mins; however, it was more like 45 mins. Only because they didn't give it to us right when they came out, they sat on thecounter until I had to ask when would they be ready. I am not from Chicago, and I would NOT recommend this establishment northis pizza. I bought 2 (1 med 1 personal) and after we all ate 1 piece, we threw away the rest. WORST EVER Read more
Ordered a personal pan Laura’s special and the wait was a little over an hour. People were being seated and getting large... pizzas and sides and my order still wasn’t ready. Not sorry to say this will be my first and last time coming. I waited solong I fell asleep. Unacceptable service. Read more

Was not aware this location remodeled to a counter-order casual dining restaurant. The dining area is smaller in size but... brighter. You are given a number and the pizza is brought out to your table by a crew member. She was friendly and kind,getting us a box for leftovers. The pizza was hot, fresh, and delicious as always. We tried the garlic butter crust for thefirst time. Didn't really taste the garlic, but I thought it was more buttery. Read more
Made the mistake of ordering a pizza a hour ago close to closing and I received my pizza looking like this. Dough falling apart,... greasy. Very sloppy job. If cooks are going to send orders out like this, the end time for placing orders should be sooner. Thisis ridiculous. Read more
