Impromptu stop that was going to simply be a turnaround because nothing else on the strip from the freeway to there looked... appetizing. Surprisingly good. Wife really enjoyed her carne asada tacos, though the sliced radishes on the side wereodd/unexpected. My burrito bowl wasn't inline with the Chipotle version I had in my head, but it was quite tasty and probablymore authentic. Read more
We stopped here for lunch during a long road trip. This is an excellent place to take a little break. The tacos were delicious!... We liked the asada and chorizo tacos the best. The green salsa is super tasty. The queso is delicious but not super thick, andthe bag of chips is on the smaller side, so would recommend getting extra chips. If it?s a pretty day, take your food down tothe River Park and enjoy a beautiful meal at one of the picnic tables. Read more

I came to visit my wife?s family in Mebane,NC. I live in GA original from SCal. I wanted tacos so I looked online and found... really good review unfortunately for me this place was overpriced and the food was ok. I had 2 tacos asada 2 tacos chorizo 1sope and 1 agua Fresca came out to a little over $18. I don?t mind paying if the food is worth it but to me it definitelywasn?t. It gets busy but honestly won?t come back. The beef was eighter old or overcooked. The chorizo had good flavor but theybarely put any on the double corn tortilla. I would not come back to this place. Before finding Tacos Los Altos, I?d felt hoehum about taco or Mexican options in the triangle. But damn, they are seriously the... best. If you?ve been looking for the best Tacos al pastor, here you go. Plus, everything on the menu I?ve had, and I?ve been atleast 15 times, has been amazing. They even make their own corn tortillas.
