I ordered 2 large sandwiches through Doordash. I got a French dip and a very berry turkey. The auj sauce leaked all over. The... sandwich itself was bleh. I ate half and gave the other half to the dog. The very berry turkey had lettuce on it that was sofull of water that the lower bun was soaking wet. I hate soggy sandwiches. The dog got this one also. I spent over $29.00 andnever again will I order from Big Town Hero. Read more
The sandwich was meh. The sandwiches at the Fred Meyer deli next door looked more appetizing. That doesn?t matter though. The... guy working behind the counter was nuts. We asked about the menu and he was being sarcastic and rude. He started attempting tospeak to me in Spanish because he saw I was Latino. We thought he was joking at first but he was just being a jerk. We sat downand tried to eat our sandwiches there. But whenever a customer was approaching the door, he?d groan and start cursing because heapparently hates his job, all while we were just trying to enjoy our sandwiches in front of him. So keep that in mind if youplan on checking this place out. I?m all about helping small businesses but I regret leaving him a 20% tip. Read more
I've been a customer for many years now and came in to grab a sandwich for lunch when I heard the owner publicly berate a... doordash driver for being late by 3 minutes and 26 seconds while he was picking up a delivery. Instead of handing the driver theorder, the owner decided to continue his tantrum and stated that the doordash driver was hurting his score on the app and not todo it again. The driver was very polite and took the order. I'm not sure if the owner was having a bad day or not but despitethat he shouldn't be yelling at anybody especially delivery drivers who are helping his company out. It was very dishearteningand embarrassing to all the customers who had to witness that and I'm sure the driver didn't find it very pleasant. I will nolonger be frequenting Big Town Hero and I hope the owner reads this review and understands that being in a customer serviceoriented business he should conduct himself a little better than he did. The manager is usually working and he remembers people pretty well. I always get exactly what I order. If you want to order 3+... sandwiches around lunch time, I recommend ordering ahead and picking it up. They are only open till 3. The bread is amazing aswell as the soups. Love this place. I'd choose this over any other sandwich place. Read more
This place has the best sandwiches around. The ingredients are fresh and the bread is the most delicious bread I?ve ever had. ... Randy (the owner) is a great guy who works hard.
