My husband and I were there at 7pm on a Friday night. We ordered steak Street tacos, taquitos and margaritas. The drinks were... great but the steak tacos…. I took one bite and had a mouth full of gristle. The flavor and smell of the food was like theyhad overused the cooking oil and tasted and smelled off not appetizing at all. They offered to exchange the tacos for chickenStreet tacos. The chicken was moist but tasteless. Needless to say we won’t be back. Read more

I was in the area for lunch and I saw that this place had vegan options. Incredibly excited to see vegan enchiladas! Not that... expensive either. They were filled with potato, black beans, and mushrooms I believe. Crispy onions and tortilla strips on topwith rice and lettuce with pico on the side. Very yummy! I would definitely come here and order it again, although perhaps a bitspicier next time. Read more

One of the better Mexican restaurants in the metro area. I prefer this location over the downtown hillsboro location because... they have parking. The food feels more authentic home style than a lot of the other restaurants that taste more like a tex mexchain. I really enjoy the Quesabirrias Plate here, the beef is tender and flavorful and the consome is very rich, great fordipping and on its own. Cant go wrong with any of their taco or burrito options, their meats are flavorful. I don't get howpeople complain about the price, Amelias is actually cheaper than most of the other mexican restaurants in the area. Read more

Great authentic and unique menu. Very friendly staff and the best Cadillac margarita I have had. The salsa is amazing too. This... is after my first visit when I have been meaning to come here for quite awhile. Will definitely be back and bring groups! Read more

Food was good - more traditional Mexican cuisine. However, they didn't have enough staff to serve. Had to wait close to 30... minutes before taking food order and then another 30-40 minutes before food came out. Also, the waitstaff kept passing by us asif we were in an invisible zone. Finally got more chips and salsa ten minutes before food came out. Good tasting food butservice needs improvement. Read more

We were a small but loud family and they took very good care of us. We stayed Past paying the bill and they still continued to... check on us and I didn't have a bad interaction with any of the staff. All very kind......the food. Wow! So good..be aware theportions are quite large! My pooled was giant! Guacamole was also probably my top favorite thing...mmm....I recommend it. Firsttime at this location but I recommend both spots. This location wasn't quite as great as the location on 4th Street. The pazole was pretty lackluster, the tacos were overall meh,... and even the rice and beans were bland, especially compared to their other location. I love the idea of its fancier menuoptions, but having bad cooks just negates their efforts. The service was great, though! Read more

Amelia's is truly one of the best Mexican restaurans in town. The food is amazing, the portions are very generous, and the... service is always good. My hands down go to is the Pozole with roasted pork. Today a swayed from the norm and ordered the locoBoruto with Asada Al pastor.it was the size of my leg OMG. If you are in the mood for Mexican food and are in the area you won'tregret it. Remember, be mindful be happy and be the best you. Read more
