Let me start by saying the 3.9 rating made me hesitant to go, but the ratings are way off. It seems that the majority of bad... ratings come from bad service, but I think the expectations are too high for this day and age. We arrived and it was busy. Wewere seated within a few minutes and informed of how the process works. Sat our 2 boys at a table as we went to the LARGE barfor a beer flight and a wine tasting. Service was very good and they even interacted with our 6 and 10 year old well. We had apretzel which was yummy, but we're mostly here for drinks. The wine is very traditional, but good. Beer is also traditional. Ilike a little variety, but they make the classics and do a good job. Ambience is nice, get out back to the patio is the weatherlets you. Read more
We loved this place! The outside atmosphere alone was worth it. Sitting at large picnic tables by a babbling brook and drinking... a glass of wine or local beer was the perfect end to our vacation. There are old fire trucks on premises that my kids had ablast playing on. The food was a bit pricey but that is true all over right now with inflation and it?s in a touristdestination. Great family spot to sit and relax and let the kids explore the creek and the fire trucks on a nice warm evening.Highly recommend and we will be back for our next trip! Read more
Trying to find a pet & kid friendly brewery in SD was a bit of a challenge. All the way from PA, traveling across the US in a... motor home with 2 kids & a dog- we finally found Fire House Smoke Jumpers Station location off our travel path. The waitress wasfriendly. I?m sure with the same staffing issues the rest of the world is having they were doing their best to provide service.Great beer selection & food options for the whole family. I wish I could have had a wine flight outdoors though. Read more
Nice place to stop for a brew. We tried their red and a blond and both were pretty good. A lot of hype but that got us in the... door. Read more

Straight up finished our drinks and left. Please don?t waste your time, especially if you?re here to visit! I?m the first person... to give places the benefit of the doubt, and yeah, people have bad days and everything, but the menu description is so much morethan the food actually was. Didn?t read reviews before going either? we?re recently local people, and trying to eat at all thelocal places. But frozen fries and 3 translucent ?caramelized? onions on a burger that was dry, not to mention cold ?BBQ? pulledpork that need the BBQ adding to it. Couldn?t even take half a second to dump out the coleslaw from the plastic portioncontainer(complete with lid) that they?ve used to store it, onto the plate, or very least remove the lid. Sent food back and itnever reappeared, granted I had asked for it not to be microwaved. The Rushmore Riesling was great, but the beer is more or lesswhat you expect from any good gas station. The girl that served us was very nice, and attentive. Really not her fault that thefood was bad. Husband took me to Cream to make up for it!! I?m gona stick to Burger and Bun or The Custer Wolf for quick, hot, well priced food and best selection of draft beverages. Read more
