My fiancé and I came to town on a Sunday night not realizing how early most establishments close for dinner. From the first... moment, Isaac behind the bar took great care of us. The Dancing Bear cooks delicious, upscale pub food. Fun, happy, upbeatatmosphere. Wonderful staff. Shouts out to Tim, Spencer and Savannah! We came back to visit our new High Dive family almostdaily after our hikes, to say hello, enjoy a local brew and play one of the multiple games (darts, pool, corn hole) they have onsite. We cannot say enough about how lovely this place is and only made better by the people who work there. Don?t miss the HighDive!! My (now) Wife and I rented out the High Dive for a private welcome party. Kay could not have been a more gracious host, with... food being provided from the Ugly Dog. It was the perfect venue for all of our traveling guests to land and unwind after a longday of travel. We made the decision to host a welcome party instead of the traditional rehearsal dinner and we had nothing butamazing feedback from our guests. The pricing, the staff, the planning and the atmosphere were the perfect addition to our OldEdwards wedding weekend. Read more
I went in tonight with a friend for the first time and stayed for a few hours, it?s such a lively hangout and we were taken care... of by Tim, one of the bar managers. Definatly a go-to place in Highlands. The space is great, nice and open. There is a dart board and two pool tables, along with... giant jenga and a few other games. Tv's for those who want to watch the games, with a projecter screen for the good games ! Thefood truck has unexpectedly delicious food. And overall the staff are just great. Read more
Wow was that Scotch pale ale really good, I don't typically care for beer that much. The little enclosed area on the side is... great, even better that we had it to ourselves. Go Thursday for great prices on drafts. A nice break from the decidedlybourgeois town (which I suppose is better than being run down!) Read more
It's ok for drinks but very pricey but then most everything in Highlands is pricey.
