Absolutely our favorite repeat spot in Highlands, hands down. Visited this time to celebrate my dad?s birthday. The manager was... our bartender last year, and made the most incredible blackberry margaritas. He jumped behind the bar for us and whipped upseveral rounds, and between the drinks, the pizzas, the charcuterie and the desserts, we couldn?t have picked a better place tocelebrate. Had a great dinner experience! Beer selection is good, drinks were great, and atmosphere was excellent. Food was really good... but not quite the best brick oven I've had. Excellent options and the toppings were really good. Long story short not the bestpizza you will ever have but a fantastic choice overall. My wife is gluten free and they can make any pie gluten free! Wewrapped up the lunch with an affagoto which was amazing!!!! So amazing, we returned after dinner for a second one. We alsograbbed a brownie this time and oh my. Both were incredible!! Definitely stop in and enjoy a meal. I would have given 4 stars because the servers don't seem to know the menu very well but the fact that the food was some of the... best I've had in my life overrided that fact and 5 stars were given. Come with the right expectations, you will eat good. Read more

Upscale vibes and flavor. We sat ourselves at the bar next to the kitchen and watched some delicious-looking food being... prepared. We enjoyed some cocktails, the caesar salad, and the charcuterie board to start. Be warned? the charcuterie boardswere much larger than you might expect! Not only did it come with the cheeses and meats we selected, it also came with olives,nuts, onions, peppers, artichokes, and bread. We probably should have stopped there, but mustered up the strength to purchase apizza as well. The best Brick oven pizza around. So flavorful and cooked to perfection. You could split one as a couple however we like... leftovers so we ordered the Napoletana which was olive oil based and a meat lovers which is tomato sauce based. My husband and ordered the caesar salad and greek salad and both were excellent!! Lettuce was not wilted or old. Definitely... added their own firewood flavor which made it unique. I ordered their fire we grilled cheese on sourdough and was pleasantlysurprised! My husband ordered the Mountain Fungi and the Margarita pizza (it?s a lot, but it?s vacation!) I was not impressedwith the Margarita, however if you like mushrooms you will love the Mountain Fungi. Per my husband it was the most flavorfulmushroom pizza he had ever had. There is a total of 2 restrooms. Restrooms were clean, tidy, and gender neutral with one stallin each one for privacy. Plenty of space. Their drink menu looked wonderful! Unfortunately I cannot partake in drinking becauseI am pregnant, but if you enjoy casual drinks this looks like this place to go. Even though I was not a fan of the Margaritapizza, the experience and food was excellent. Typically I do not like eating at same place twice while on vacation, however outof all the restaurants we?ve tried in Highlands, NC this is the only one I would come back to for a second time.
