Reviews for Blue Bike Cafe in Highlands, NC
My date and I walked to Highlands town yesterday and chose the Blue Bike Cafe for brunch. We sat on the front patio at a... pleasant shaded table and received cheerful service. The menu was a delicious selection of full breakfasts and lunches. It?sdefinitely a step up from diner food and comfortably familiar (grand slam, omelettes, grits, burgers, pancakes, chicken fingers, etc). I heard it is crowded on weekends and is only open till 3pm. Definitely worth a nice meal with your partner. It?s kidand dog friendly. Read more

The staff was so friendly and inviting and we all loved our meals. They also have items you can buy in the gift shop to help... remember the visit. I took off a star for the dining area (tables/booths), which could be spruced up a bit more, but overallreally enjoyed the experience and food. Read more
My wife and I visited here in March and we absolutely loved it. First it was so great to be greatest by the owner and while we... waited for 3 mintues or so for a table she told us about the restaurant and her family. We started off with the Pimento cheeseand it was great. I had the French dip for my meal and it was perfect I love the fact that they have the sidewinder fries. Mywife and I can't wait for our next trip to Highlands to go back to the blue bike. Read more

I had planned a trip to Highlands with my family for a few weeks and sought out a place for us to enjoy lunch. Blue Bike Cafe's... pictures really excited me and I decided that was the spot to try! For some reason they were unable to clear the dining area andwe had to wait. The wait was worth it. I ordered a mushroom swiss burger with onion rings, my wife chicken tenders with fries, and our eight year old daughter chocolate chip pancakes. Wait staff was very friendly. It is always evident when a business isrun with passion and that passion is evident here. The decor is whimsical and relaxed and the general vibe is relaxed andeasygoing. With an unpretentious menu, relaxed atmosphere, and a friendly staff it's hard to go wrong with Blue Bike Cafe! Read more
