My husband Gary and I and our baby fefe ?????????????????????????????????????????? visited once upon a bagel yesterday and I... ordered the club panini which was absolutely delicious and my husband Gary had the pastrami panini with a side of fruit and itwas so delicious. This place is fast paced! Grab a paper menu before you grab a number at the bagel counter so you don't get overwhelmed. Service... is fast and polite, the variety is a bit intimidating, prices are right on the mark. I recommend the pretzel bagel and the allseason egg bagel. I don't recommend the coffee, I'm afraid. Will be back with family as their dining space is spacious, cleanand the health guide lines are respectfully and fully enforced (bring your vaccination card to dine in). Read more
Upper Crust Bagel was closed so I decided to go Once Upon A Bagel and as usual they are only consistent with giving poor... service. I order 3 breakfast sandwiches and the cheese is not even melted and the salami is not grilled. I called back and thelady who answered the phone was super rude and hung up on me - the manager was no better. This is the 3rd time I haveexperienced POOR SERVICE and HORRIBLE FOOD. Next time Upper Crust Bagel is closed, I rather go to Jewel and make my ownbreakfast sandwich. Read more
This place looks feels and gives authentic food. I loved the raw ambiance (it?s not beautiful but it is open and honest). They... are about making Bagels and that?s what it smells in there. I had the veggie Panini and it was good. I specially loved theirbagel (I wish I?d have asked them to toast it). I had Onion Bagel and Asiago Bagel, with Cream Cheese of Chives andJalapeño. 4.5 stars! A bagel shop with a very fairy tale name. Pretzel bagel taste great with a great amount of veggies cream cheese, very... generous! Service is fast! The bagel is on a smaller size compared to those in NYC, but it?s a good portion for me! It will bebetter if the cream cheese could be less salty. Read more
Amazing bagel place and deli. Love coming here for all the classics. The jalapeño cream cheese is my personal favorite.
I love this place. I am big on bagels and I am over eating the generic bagels from Panera and other chains so I have sought out... the best places to go in the Chicagoland area and Once Upon a Bagel definitely lives up to the hype. I have only ever gottenbagels, but they have always been amazing. The place is often busy on weekends but service has always be pretty quick in myexperience. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area and love bagels as much as I do! Read more
