My family and I have passed this quaint little gem on the way to and from the beach and we FINALLY stopped by and ate. I got the... shrimp Po boy sandwich, my family got a double cheeseburger and the country fried steak sandwich. Son said the country friedsteak was the very best he had ever tasted. Hubby enjoyed his burger. Friendly staff, we didn't have to wait long. All in all,we had a great experience here and we will definitely be stopping in again! Read more

Food was terrible. My wife ordered the chicken and it was cold and dry . My club sandwich was ok , but the fries was full of... oil . My son got the chicken fingers and fries . He got sick from it . We saw this place driving back to Tennessee from a Florida vacation and were inclined to stop because of the diner's name. I'm... so glad we did! It's difficult to find good ol' country cooking, and this place really impressed me. The waitress was even superfriendly and had that "southern charm". We'll be back next time we're in Alabama! I ordered the hot dog and fries. They were both exceptional. The fries were some of the best fast food fries I?ve ever... had. The buffet food doesn't look very appetizing like at all. Order from the regular meun and you should be alright.. The fried... chicken was decent , slightly dry though. They also offer a full menu. The staff is friendly and the restaurant is clean. Theyhave hand sanitizing alcohol wipes at the buffet for your hands as well as a sanitizer pump. Read more

Drive by on our way home from Panama City Beach and saw a packed parking lot and we were hungry. Nice home cooked southern food... at a good price. Order from the menu or get an all you can eat buffet. Service was good as well. The only negative was (I'mguessing the owner) was not the nicest guy to his employees. Saw the name of this place on our way to the beach and just had to check it out. They have a buffet that apparently changes... entree stylings frequently or a pretty lengthy menu of blue plate lunches, burgers and fries platters. I can't pass up friedchicken livers and they were very good plus a hefty portion. Sides were fine, standard fare of fries, slaw, etc. While itinitially took us a while to get seated with menus, service was hospitable and frequent once we got our drinks. Prices were morethan reasonable especially for a local establishment. Four stars because buffet is pretty small in terms of choices and it tooka while for our food to come.
