I've ordered from the store from DoorDash a couple of times. My order is ALWAYS missing the drink. The donuts were packaged well... and tasted good, but I was really bumming over not getting my bacon maple milkshake, two different times. I will say, it mayhave been the door dash drivers' faults, maybe better communication between staff and 3rd party deliveries. ? The other issue Ihave is that 2 different times, I drove to the location, and both times, they were closed. At 11 am and 3 pm? Today thehandwritten sign said, 4:00. I get it, short staffing and all that, we have it at my work too, but maybe update the Googlelisting to reflect that? Glad I didn't pay online. I have to be at work at 4, so I'd either have to go through with a refund, orfigure out how to get what I've paid for. It was pretty inconvenient to drive to Pinecrest for nothing. Read more

My donuts were literally thrown together and I had to reask for chocolate when I had ordered it and it was not added. Staff were... walking around and laughing and not feeling any rush to work while people stood around in the store waiting for their donuts.Hopefully this is a phase but I was disappointed in the service and how the presentation was for the amount you are paying fordonuts. Usually my order is timely and correct. Unfortunately, today I ordered at 7:45am, and it?s 9am and not only is my order not... ready, but the door is still locked!. If the owner knows that they are short staffed, then why are they not here helping theiremployees? I got a message saying my order was ?ready? at 8:15?but how can that be, when the store isn?t even open yet? Therehave been at least 20 people come and gone trying to enter the store. The girl looks like she?s working hard by herself in thelocked store, but where is the owner to help her? I normally wouldn?t mind, but considering I?ve just worked all night and I?mgetting donuts for my daughter?s birthday?I?m a little frustrated! Also, I preordered and prepaid, so kinda a problem picking upmy order if your door is locked! So now I?m stuck here at the mercy of a clearly only employee in the store and her lack of timemanagement skills. If she?d unlock the door, I?d make mine myself if she?d let me. Whoever did the hiring for this place, clearly was Not thinking about customer service. That girl behind the counter is awful.... The wait time was way too long for donuts! 20+minutes. Instead of making customers aware, they chose to loud talk each other andtotally disregard the ppl waiting. The 3 stars is only for the taste of the product. Honestly there are better places. And whathappened to hair nets and masks. They are preparing food, no? Will not be going back. Read more

We've been to the original locations in OBX. The lines are a lot shorter here and you get your donuts steaming hot!

this was my brother and I?s first time here. donuts were alright but the customer service was terrible. young man taking orders... was pretty rude & seemed high as a kite. when i told him what we wanted he said ?okay $12.47? and i said one sec im stilllooking he said ?it?s $12.47? so i didn?t even bother buying anything else. will not be back. The donuts are good but I must say I did not like the customer service I experienced today. My husband and I ordered a dozen and... a half of donuts and you can tell the young lady named Anaysha was visibly annoyed. I even asked the gentleman who rang us upwas there an issue with ordering that amount because of the face she made. He explained no, its just that there were only 3 ofthem at the time and it would take a while.I mean??.you are a donut shop right!?!? Wouldn?t you be prepared for people to ordera dozen or two?!?! I understand larger orders may take up more time but that should not be written all over the employees facewhen I am spending my money with your business. Keep in mind its the same money that keeps you employed! Even as she walked overto start the order she was dragging her feet and had a look on her face as if she didn?t want to do it. One thing I am big on iscustomer experience, it is soooooo important. Its truly the thing that separates you from the others. There are many other donutshops around so do better duck donuts! At the end of it she was friendly with the typical ?thank you? and ?have a good day? butthat FIRST impression is truly the lasting impression. Read more
