Occasionally a little hit or miss (I've had veggies before that were a little past their "best by" date, so to speak), but for... the most part the food is really good. I normally get the veggie plate but without the garlic sauce (since I'm normally at workwhen I pick up lunch and I don't want to torture my customers), and they always fix me up with a suitable substitute (usually agenerous portion of pickles, extra hummus, or some veggies). 5 stars because the staff are always super friendly andaccommodating, and the food is generally very good. Uncle Louis has the most friendly staff. I always get the daily special and it is absolutely delicious and filling every single... time. The chicken lemon rice soup is fantastic and the fries are some of the best I've ever had and are always fried fresh, soby the time I get to my destination they are still crispy! Of course, the chicken shawarma wraps are also fantastic and packedfull with the traditional fillings. Highly highly recommend stopping into Uncle Louis for some awesome and quick Mediterraneanfood. We ordered takeout. Flavors were all really good. Portion sizes were excellent. The 4 person combo could have easily fed our 7... person family. The hummus was good, the baba ghanoush was very good. Some of the meat was dry - especially the shish tawookchicken. The gyro chicken shawarma meat was cold and dry to the point of being hard. We got take out so maybe that played somepart in this. Even being dry the flavors were all on point. The rest of the meat was excellent, moist, and very flavorful. Thefattoush salad seemed to be a garden salad but with pita chips crushed over it (these are optional). Very basic but the dressingwas delicious. Overall the food was good. We will definitely go back. This area needs more Middle Eastern food and Uncle Louisseems like its off to a great start! Read more
