We eat here often. The service is always courteous and food is fresh. We eat here and we order to go. I have no complaints ????
This place is a hit or miss on service. Sometimes we get good service. Sometimes we get average service. And then there are... times we just get bad service. Today was far from good service. Our server rarely visited us during the meal, cause I was inneed of a water refill after the first few bites of my poutine. We had to flag someone else down to get us water and get ourserver to assist with finalizing our meal. I ordered the poutine as a meal and the fish and chips (more like fish and fruit, tomake it a bit more healthier?! ????). The poor fries in the poutine looked and tasted far from fresh. It tasted, just OK.Nothing too fancy, but is poutine really fancy at all? But my expectation would have been fresh fried fries topped with thepoutine fixings. I guess my expectation was fresh, crunchy fries like they are when they're ordered as a side with the meal.Totally not the situation. I think the other thing that bothered me was that they were basically room temp. Either they weresitting too long before the server brought them out or they were a go back and we ended up with. I'm hoping it was the first,not the second. Lol. I'm giving this place a 3 star because that's what it would average out with the excellent, average, andpoor service we've gotten here. I wish there was more consistency, or even that we could get the same good servers every timewe're here. Now to speak of the menu. I feel that it's been some time since they've changed the menu. Maybe because we're herelike every week, I'm already getting tired of the menu. I mean, today we went out of our norm, picking from the sandwiches. Theydo have great sandwiches, but they have changed so much in size. For example the Cali Club was 3 slices of bread before and aheavy serving of turkey. Now it's a typical 2 slice sandwich with about half the turkey that used to be in there. This is justone of many examples of portion control, yet the prices go up. Congratulation, you won the world worst tasting restaurant title! Bacons were like wood piece, almost broke my teeth, soup was... horrifying salty, Thai salad was too sugary, meatball spaghetti noodle was uncooked....only thing I liked was bread and cocktailsodas! Read more
Great food! Especially the prime rib, the tomato bisque and grilled cheese and the ahi poke! And don?t forget the yummy... chocolate cream pie! Great service and ambiance. Got the filet mignon rare medium, it was soft and juicy... along with that creamy butter on top..... perfect. Their lemonade was decent. Would come again!... Only if the casino gives me more food vouchers :) Read more
Came here for an impromptu part of a bachelor?s party, they seated us pretty quickly for such a big group on a Saturday night.... Service was so friendly and quick (we sent back one steak for being too rare and they even checked on us twice to make sure thesecond one had been cooked right). We tried the poutine fries (which was more like carne asada fries with the guacamole and sourcream), Buffalo wings, ribeye steaks, and burgers. Great service started at the bar! We decided to stay and eat! A few vegetarian options plus a Prime Rib for my lady! Very... accommodating. Our waitress was a doll! Only downside *whispers* male waiter walked by without filling our waters after I hadjust asked for waters. Besides that, it was a great experience! Read more
